Great video! Just wanted to ask is there any relation between the scores on the mock exams on the CFAI website and the actual exam you gave? Meaning would you say generally candidates get the same score on both?

Hello, Glad you liked it ☺️ Score wise I would say there isn’t a relationship….People with low grades in mocks tend to pull up their socks and sometimes people with good scores don’t even pass the exam… So I don’t even like counting mock scores as a benchmark!

Hi Kaustav, You’re not in a very bad pace if your first revision is done well (in the sense of logical understanding). I know it’s easier said than done but try to keep calm and just get going, like I said it’s not sounding bad…Just keep practising and focus on knowing things logically ☺️ Wishing you all the luck & success ☺️

thanks for your kind words, I think it all boils down to how efficiently one consolidates each reading incl 1500+ EOCQs before sitting for the exam.

@@kaustavdutta9801 you’re most welcome ☺️ As a personal opinion, I never really bother about the number of questions done…I am of the opinion of having a very strong logical understanding to things and a practise fair enough to know the kind of questions asked and how to tackle them (where the logic will play a major role) P.s. not at all denying that practise is not important, just not the person to bother about the number of questions done 🙌🏻

Hi I just gave my cfa L2 mocks got around 55/88 question right. My major mistakes were 1) Not remembering the concepts of FSA 2) problems in Last 2 chapters of Quants (big data and machine learning) 3) Derivates- valuation of contingent claims 4) Economic - 1 chapter(currency) 5. Portfolio mgmt - last chapter Equity, alt investments, ethics, corporate finance and fixed income is pretty good. So according to you how should i go about my studies now, if my exam is on 20 nov Also I finished both my session around 30-45 min before time so will it be same on the exam day ? And thanks for the video, really liked it

Hi, Glad you liked the video ☺️ To answer all your questions 1. Score is not bad at all (specially with still 10-12 days in hand). Do at least 2-3 mocks more if you have time in hand if not make sure you practise the questions that went wrong. 2. Revise FSA through virtual lectures or videos…if the concepts are clear one more revision will make sure you don’t forget on the exam day. If concepts are not clear, do not go in depth now just try to touch base with whatever you can. 3. Derivatives & Eco is a similar situation for all…exam questions can also be tricky. Just keep practising from institute questions now. 4. Portfolio last chapter: same method for FSA, revise again through virtual lectures by 15-17th November and continuously y questions from it right after ( the theory will stick more in mind) 5. Quants: same method like the last chapter of portfolio 6. Keep revising as is…Practise from institute questions only. 7. Time is good, no guarantee for the exam day but high chances are you won’t run out of time seeing your current situation☺️

Great one, Well I am not in CFA LEVEL 2 then also watching this video. Just want to ask does LEVEL 2 or may be level 1 require good level of English skills because many time I had faced in solving EOCs questions the institute trick us in some words like least important, not least likely and many more. By this words the answer gets wrong. Is there any trick or tips which you guide us to solve this tricky question language ? because it is very hectic by knowing the answer it get wrong then it feels like regret.

Thank you Gaurav 🙌🏻 Very good English to a certain level will be needed in level 2 and mostly in level 3… In level 1…Yes for the questions you will need to know basics also will do. This least likely and not least likely is all about practise and most importantly reading the question fully and patiently (everyone, even with the best English tend to get tricked here because of not reading the question). Will try to make a video on this as well (maybe a short) 🙌🏻🙌🏻

hello , i am giving level 2 in november and im running short on time , i have completed one revision of the syllabus but the revision was just a read through without question solving. How do i best utilise my time to pass , should i do more of candidate resource eocq or focus more on mocks?

Hello Tejpal, Yes you can start your CFA journey. Best way would be to first start classes (online or offline both are equally great) get the feel of the efforts you’ll need, the syllabus and register for the exam accordingly. Mostly if you start now then by mid of year second year of graduation you should be ready to give the exam.

@@parthkarmarkar8714 I personally do not recommend keeping your mock scores as a benchmark to defer…Learn from your mistakes and make sure if those questions are asked again you are able to solve it. If you have studied well and have your logic right then do not let this fear hold you back…I would suggest you take the risk
