Thank you for this video. I am very confused as a Catholic about this situation. I have heard stories on both sides. Some from other Catholic sites that seem to be so filled with hatred over this. Your video is the one constructive video I have seen so far that lays out the history in a very informative and easy to understand way. Seeing as you come from a Jewish background, you seem to be in a much better position to give an unbiased assessment. Your video has helped me understand things in regards to the Israel side that I did not know before or quite frankly heard the complete opposite. I intend to listen again as there is much to digest. I am so happy to have just come upon your channel! God bless you, sir!

I am Lebanese Aramean. The jews BELONG in the Levant region alongside us, jews were always there and they spoke Aramaic as we/Syrians/Iraqis did too. Archeological and historical records support jewish claims. Arabs invaded in 7th century and banned our language and tried to force their faith onto us and jews, some capitulated, most Maronite Catholics did not, this is why in Lebanon today only 40% of Catholics have Arab DNA. Arab descendants are also here now known as Palestinians. They have been neighbors for decades now, Israel is not going anywhere, hopefully peace will descend. If the 2-state UN proposal in 1947 was accepted by the Palestinians they would have more land than they do today, the jews accepted this proposal.

@@SaintCharbelMiracleworkerExactly! Their language was Aramic instead of [modern day] Hebrew, in fact "prophet" Mo himself did not deny the existence of the Jewish people throughout the Middle East far before the modern day state of Israel, and just like St Paul & Peter, some of them emigrated to Rome, later Europe etc, not the other way around. ✅

The claim that is consistently made in the Arab world is that the Jews in Israel are "colonizers" that came in from Europe in the 20th century, and mostly after WWII. There was no Jewish state known as Israel until 1947, when it was established by UN Resolution 181. There also was no other state there -- it was a British territory, given to Great Britain as "spoils of war" after the Ottoman Empire was on the losing side in WWI.

From my research, I believe that Magog and many of the other nations mentioned in Ezekiel represent modern Turkey. There was a king called Gyges who ruled Lydia in Western Turkey. His name was pronounced Gugu in Akkadian the language of Babylon and he lived just before Ezekiel was writing. Turkey was the heart of the last Islamic caliphate and has murdered more Christians than any other nation in history. I read that the terrorists called their despicable attack the ‘deluge of Al Asqa’ because they claim some Jews allegedly went to the Al Asqua mosque to commemorate the Temple there. I always notice that the contention over the Temple Mount is always over Al Asqua as the site of the Temple. Apparently both sides now think the Temple was not under the dome of the rock but somewhere in the plaza in front of Al Asqua . My reading of some archeology there and ancient pilgrimage accounts to Jerusalem has lead me to believe that the rock under the dome wasn’t the foundation stone, but Gabbatha, the judgment seat of Pilate in the Praetorium in the fortress Antonia which overlooked the courts of the Temple. This hypothetical configuration of the Temple makes sense with the historical records like Josephus. Gabbatha then, in that location, also provides the context for the caliph Al Malik’s anti Christian inscriptions surrounding the rock inside the dome. The September cover story of the National Geographic reported that recent mosaic findings under the visible mosaics indicate that the first Umayyad caliph Muʿāwiya had initiated the construction of the dome of the rock which was later Islamisized by ʿAbd al-Malik. Muʿāwiya built other monuments on the Temple Mount during his reign and evidence points to him having been a Christian of some sort. The inscriptions inside the dome surrounding the rock made by caliph Al-Walid according to what is written in them but his father ʿAbd al-Malik may have actually initiated the inscriptions during his reign only to have been finished by his son Al-Walid. The ornate mosaics above the inscriptions are very similar to the ones in the Great Mosque of Damascus which lends support to the theory that Al-Walid had a part in their creation since he built the Damascus mosque over the ancient cathedral shrine housing the head of St. John the Baptist. That’s my theory at least.
