In India Christian population is much much more than it is projected in the statistics. There are a lot of crypto Christians in South India, UP , MP , Jharkhand, Bengal and of course Punjab. Hindus are much much more secular than any other community.

Christian missionaries are on a spree to convert innocent Hindus and in order to keep it secret they just don't want to reveal the identity of the converted ones (to befool others). I have come across such people in my neighborhood and in public transport many a times. People like Jaganmohan Reddy (CM Andhra Pradesh) and Charanjeet Channi (former CM of Punjab) are such examples.

Also if you notice Raj Kapoor had really unrealistic expectation from his sons and daughter-in-laws.. all his sons were alcoholic because they suffered through untreated depression.
