Yeah people don't realize the Shattering was was bigger than we see. Like... We see who is LEFT. After... A LOOOONNNNGGG war. So long the Fingers called in the Tarnished to see if they could tip the scales. Redmane castle was NOT Radahn's castle. Not originally. He took it. Presumably from a different Demigod. (IMO it gave him the power to stop the Stars… but that's conjecture) His siege engines are outside it, pointing in. His troops are arranged for a siege on the castle. So he had only JUST recently taken it when Malenia shows up to fight him. You can even see his Banners thrown over the original stonework sigils of the place. It's so very "recently conquered" Point being, there's probably quite a few other Demigods that got killed in the early days. And with each Rune Radahn took, he grew larger. I'm also not confident he ever had the use of his legs... (GRRM referencing Bran subtly) He is Always riding his horse. He is VERY close to his horse. His legs are GONE when we see him. Totally gone. Like he couldn't feel them being worn away... He specializes in GRAVITY magic. Might help a cripple get around. Or stay on his little pony once he became a giant man god thing. Almost all of Marika's children has SOMETHING wrong with them... (I'm willing to bet good money even Godwyn was also an Omen, given the DLC) But Radahn doesn't seem to. Well there you are. Now you know he probably couldn't walk.
@ameetfaisal8723
19 күн бұрын
@@darkhoboWell first of all Radhan had legs before the rot destroyed him. You can see his legs in the trailer. Radhan is not Marikas child. So him having something wrong with him is very low. There is no mention of him having any defects in the game lore that I know. Ranni killed her body and Rykard let himself be consumed to get strong. They were never said to be afflicted with anything.
@darkhobo
18 күн бұрын
@@ameetfaisal8723 he has legs But that doesn't mean they work. And when we finally fight him, they have worn away from being dragged on the ground. That's a hint. A puzzle piece. 🧩 #1 You go watch the opening cinematic. I don't have too. I know It shows he is on his Horse! He is always riding his Horse. That's like, his main personality trait. His teeny tiny little pony that he had since he was young. Leonhard. Imagine how close you would get with a horse that's literally your means of transportation... Youd be inseparable. Literally. Plus his speciality is gravity magic. He never has to walk. He couldn't learn that with his Mother in Raya Lucaria. So he sought out gravity magic specifically. Why? Locomotion. So he could get around and not have to find a new horse. He loves Leonhard and would rather travel to Selia and learn a whole new sorcery than give up his wheelchair horseie. This whole idea is ripped directly from Bran in AGOT by the way. There is precedent for this. It's not out of the blue. Speaking of blue. The rest of the Demikids are messed up too. Who said it was only physical? Ranni KILLED HERSELF and Rykard FED HIMSELF to a snake. Godwyn is shacking up with a Lich Dragon (you heard me). And the sets of twins speak for themselves. Clearly Marika's children (Radagon IS Marika btw...) don't always turn out right. Mentally or physically. A result of the nature of the Elden Ring itself. Even if Radahn's legs DO work. Which you haven't proven and I've proven he goes to extensive lengths to not need to use them. Regardless of all that, he still has Gigantism. He's still HUGE. Like. IDK what to tell you man. Just because the game didn't say it. Doesn't mean it's not true. If it walks like a duck. Or doesn't in this case. That's how Fromsoft games are. They tell the story through puzzle pieces and tiny details. And Radahn not having legs when we fight him.. because he has been mindlessly dragging them through the sand for centuries. That's a detail I noticed and looked into. And turns out he may not be able to walk.
@Junkzillabox
18 күн бұрын
@@darkhobo He's not an Albinauric.. His legs do work because you can fight a younger version of himself that fights perfectly on his feet since he has a well developed ground fighting technique with his weapon in the DLC. Small minded people just can't see the forest for the trees. No matter how much evidence points to a conclusion they just simply can't see the answer in front of them.

@@darkhobo He's not an Albinauric.. His legs do work because you can fight a younger version of himself that fights perfectly on his feet since he has a well developed ground fighting technique with his weapon in the DLC. He just prefers fighting on his horse if he can because he just loves his horse. Has nothing to do with personal immobility.

@@Junkzillabox buddy. That's Moghs body we fight in the DLC. Did you skip the Ansbach quest? it's made perfectly clear that they used Mogh's body to revive Redahn. And Mogh has working legs. You people just don't pay attention to the lore and make up whatever you want huh? Meanwhile I'm paying so much attention I can tell when someone is a cripple. Small minded people just can't see the forest for the trees. No matter how much evidence points to a conclusion they just simply can't see the answer in front of them. You would make a terrible detective. Would require a hand written confession to solve any case. "He just loves his horse so much he literally lets his legs turn to mush". Yeah okay bud. When you show him walk I'll believe he can walk. Until then he can't fucking walk.
Bro him on that horse has me dead
If that the case he might have grown after acquiring his great run during the shattering since those things are literal pieces of the elden ring and probably full of grace

I love how u are asking the important questions. Every other creator always skips the little details.
It reminds me of Executioner Smough, I think I recall a fact/theory that attributed his giant size to all the souls he had consumed as executioner and cannibal
Noones talking about how Radahn most likely is a descandant from giants. The whip you get from the Fire giant states that in regards to his red hair, Radagon was most likely a descendant of the giants who all had red locks of hair.
Well that doesn't explain how the player can drink dozens and dozens of runes by making an albinauric genocide and still remain 1.70

Game mechanics. Lore wise we should be larger, same as in Dark Souls, where in the lore, consuming souls makes you larger in stature.

@@ExtraStage300I don’t know if I’m remembering this correctly, but I think that humans didn’t grow larger by consuming souls unlike other enemies in the series like smough, who grew to that size due to being a cannibal
Radahn was tall like Godfrey or Radagon but only grew to giant size due to his rune
you questioning the throne? question leonard lol
In the scene bro was absolutely massive before he fought Melania. Just towering there menacingly.
His great rune is a key play to all this. Radahn's great rune boosts the players' neccessity stats by 25%. This would make Radahn much bigger and stronger. Malenia's heal is also from her Great Rune, and its the same reason why Okina has Rivers of Blood and not Rivers of Water or smt. Mohg buffed Okina's weapon with extra bleed, same as Eleonora.
Radahn has giant dna
Well... Finish Shadow of the erdtree and you'll find out.
Don’t think Radahn was that big until much later in life. As his horse also was able to hold him before his huge growth spurt. Which explains why he learned Gravity magic so he could still ride him.
Always the sussy boi stuff at the end
I think it's also because of the giants cursing marika as well, maybe one of the reasons. I mean, look how big his mom was.
There's also the fact he has giant's blood in him due to the curse Marika casted off on Radagon
Hey hey hey. There’s a pop theory going that the current Radahn is inhibiting Mohg’s body; hence why he’s smaller than the original body (if you put their models side-by-side). Also, there’s an attack of the current Radahn which he creates a red, rift-like line on thin air with his blade that explodes exactly like that one attack from Mohg himself.
I doesn’t make sense that he grew when effected by the rot, cuz his armor would simply kill him because it was too small
This was theorized to be the case in Dark Souls as well, the reason why enemies were so large was because of the amount of souls they consumed
I thought he got massive cuz he got riddled with scarlet rot
@garrulousgoldmask

I thought that too at first, but he's massive in the cutscene before the Battle of Aeonia so there's something different going ln
That's how i got 6.2
Scarlet rot also might play a part in his size as well. The scarab beetles, the dragonflies, and the land squirts that dotting around aonia swamps are 5x the size of regular counterpart found else where as well

Ah, I was thinking that but for Radahn, he is clearly massive in his showdown with Malenia before the Battle of Aeonia. It does make sense for all the other animals tho!
Gravity magic, he just hovered slightly over it like he did with Leonard
man....they already explained that radhan got piece of great rune and w body grew so much
Well do I have something to tell you
size doesnt matter in fromsofts games, most if not all times is just artistic license
How did his armor get bigger to match his size ? Why is he giant during the cutscene facing malenia ? It was before consuming the graces
So why aren’t we huge we got hella runes
In my personal head cannon Gods and demigods have random god powers and probably have no issue shrinking themselves down in size to fit in a chair. Or, The thrones are for their spectral forms. They never physically sat in them and their spectral forms (soul form that everyone in elden ring has) can probably be made any size to fit in the chair
Or maybe because of the great rune which he achieved
Radahn used to be smaller
Is radhan not literally like part giant
Prime radahn fits
Wasn’t it told that he was just a big big boy at birth?
Radhan is THICCCCC
I mean…he fits on the horse?
The thrones are figurative not literal...
Isnt radahn in moghs body?
No ? Radan was seen to be as big fightimg melania and she was the reason he got the munshys :)
Smash
He used to be smaller when he still used that throne
I’m actually pissed they brought this guy back in the dlc, what a waste of
Bro that’s not Rahdans body when he’s “young”. That’s Mohgs body that Radhan is in.
Nope that makes no sense because long before he started eating his friends and enemies he learn gravity magic because he was growing and couldn’t ride his horse anymore also the reason his a giant is pretty obvious Radagon is half giant hence the red hair radagon hates his giant heritage he hated the color of his hair unlike radhan he loves the color of his hair
Love the rationalizing to try to make ER's lore less bad.
wrong he started to get huge once he became a demi-god states in the lore so rhat was probably b4 the shattering so he was still not demi-god
There's also the fact he has giant's blood in him due to the curse Marika casted off on Radagon
