@@sakandar100 In 1947 itself Kashmiri Raja choose to be independent only to be attacked by tribal with support of Pakistani army (or Pakistani army disguised as tribals if you go with Indian version). That's forced the king to accede to India. An independent Kashmir is impossible in between three nuclear countries, if India gives up the legal ascension claims, Pakistan will swallow Kashmir and will gift Ladakh to China.

F-16s weren't used in this dogfight. Only the JF-17s were used which are specifically active in service for performing lead defensive and offensive traits. As per India claims that they downed a F-16, go and check the report of US defence who confirmed it themselves that none of the planes were missing in bizarre situations.

Get out of 1971 ....it's thing of a past....a lot has changed ...and by the way a timid and coward can only flaunt about 1971 where Eastern Command of Pakistan forces was fighting an isolated battle; 1000 miles away from it's base, completely outnumbered with a shadow air force and navy and an army that was embroiled in months long insurgency without supplies and reinforcements....where ever you Indians were on equal footing you achieved nothing...on Western front you lost Chamb, Dewa and Sakrana in Chamb Salient and it's still in Pakistan's hand , Pakka enclave in Fazilka, Husaieniwala in Ferozepur and severe reversals in Lipa....it's not Pakistanis but you Indians who are delusional.

That is called fog of war as two Army searches were carried out and they thought both of the groups found their pilots but in reality they found abhinandan . Similarly fog of war took place on Indian side as well causing Friendly Mi-17 Shot down ! Sir I have come to know one conclusion, future wars and it's outcome belongs to AIR POWER. Any state who have superior air force will dominate the war. Therefore Pakistan must resort to spending and investing more in Air power. Army must be cut to size, old fashioned British style armies are no more an option. It's a white elephant and must be downsized More attention should be paid to 1. Air force 2. Drone technology 3. Hypersonic Missile technology 4. EM warfare systems 5. Nuclear technology as deterrence. The reason Army arm of the forces should be downsized is because we are for defending borders not offensive. We don't have occupying other states ambitions. Further the commander chief should be the Air Marshal and not anymore Army chief. Can be 2IC but not COAF.

Had Swift Retort been successful, Modi wouldn't have integrated Kashmir, he abrogated article 370 within 6 months. IAF killed jaish e mohd terrorists, hence no terror attacks thereon in India. Perhaps we will have to wait for another terror strike to see another dogfight. But, can't agree on Kashmir issue. JeM carried out and claimed attack, world supported India. PAF performed well, and after Elections, BJP integrated Kashmir. Had there been Manmohan singh he wouldn't have dared it. We are happy with Modi's steps, though his approach towards minorities is debatable. Also, he could have handled Covid better. Anyways, much better than Army lapdog Imran Khan, who couldn't solve any issue in 3 yrs of governance
