Thank you for another interesting and enjoyable video. When I got my job as agricultural officer over 50 years ago, I finished the equivalent of high school and 1 year in ag college my older colleges who started in the job, 80 plus years ago would not have finished high school or gone at all. They were the best of people, now my starting out equivalents have all got degrees and masters . I really dont think they have as much commonsense. they do have to contend with thousands of rules, appeals and audits. We had none except give the farmer the benifit of the doubt and any payment and decisions by Christmas!

Bureaucrats love making things "better" for the citizenry but they fail at it every time. And as a result, the commonsense goes out the door.

I love the rant vids.... I'm an Idaho resident... who while riding my bicycle, was hit by a car in the crosswalk.... A sheriff saw the whole thing but because I was in the city of Caldwell, the city police came and took over. The info was given, free to go, or go by ambulance, I had my fiance' drive me to the hospital (I can't handle a $4k charge for a trip 1 mile away). Later that evening, an officer came by the house and cited me for not yielding. In Idaho, vehicles are to yield to peds/bikes in the crosswalk so as not to KILL ME..... The police didn't even know the law. The DA did though and apologized for the charges and I asked if they were dropped because of a particular pedestrian/bicycle law stating that a bicyclist is the SAME as a pedestrian... they said , "well yes, that's the reason!" ... the police still think that a bicycle is a car to them and must follow "car law" .. I carry the law in my wallet now and pay MUCH CLOSER attention while riding near traffic.......... so ............ we'll carry on and clench our teeth !

that is crazy that the LEO didn't know the law! I used to ride a bike quite a bit, but the traffic got too bad around here and I just don't trust the azzhats texting & driving to see me on the shoulder on a bicycle.

I'm curious what it costs to register your cars and trucks in Maryland? I see quite a few Maryland vehicles in Fort Collins Colorado, not sure whether traveling or have second homes or going to the University. We have a hardware store in Laporte Colorado that is owned by a 92 year old lady that still works at her store and if you need anything she usually can find it.

Titles and registration fees just went up July 1 in maryland. It now costs $100 to title a new or used vehicle and about $150 per year for tags for a 3/4 ton pickup truck.

That's our governor Wes Moore in action. He said he wasn't raising taxes just fees. So bend over MD. Tags , license, permits, etc. gone up. MD used to be the land of pleasant living . Now it's just the land of taxes. Yes a fee is a tax by another name and we have plenty.

Farmer you think thats pricey try real estate the prices to have a license yearly can run you in the thousands. Classes about $800 and yearly your required to take the classes or your license is invalid sometimes your required to take other classes another $600 then you have the real estate board fee and then you have taxes when all is said and done your out of pocket close to $5000 and thats not even counting where you work also charge you for signs poles note pads they charge even to answer a phone .

Oh my - I didn't realize real estate licenses were that expensive to get and maintain. The government has their hands in everything.
