Izz not entirely up to him, cuh. His engineers and drivers need to work together to make things happen, cuh. But good for him for investing for the right stuff for his F1 team like people and facilities with almost no limit in quality cuh. His money can make that happen cuh but yeah he will need help from his people cuh and so far it is happening for them coz of Alonso and good car they produced, cuh.

Everything Stroll has touched in the last 30 years has turned to gold. A family member worked with him for 15 years and his work ethic is world-class, few are those who can keep up with him. He never stops. I believe Aston will have a world title, either constructor or driver, by the end of the decade (2027, 2nd year of new regulations, at the latest or maybe before 2026 depending on how red bull does).

You can do a lot just because you have money it doesn’t make you a great businessman. I hope he can bring Aston Martin the branding it needs, it’s his only strength, marketing, put a car on a race track buy the skill sets to make it win and put an Aston sticker on it, to say it’s Aston Martin so more idiots buy the road cars. This team have been re branded like take away dinners over the years and there is not one technical cent in the car that is Aston Martin technically.

@@Tracertme To vertically integrate such a big business like he did with Silas Chou, twice at that, takes way more than money. I could give you ten million dollars tomorrow to start designing, manufacturing, marketing, distributing and selling whatever item and there's at least 10,000 ways this could go bad. Started with just retail, then did a full vertical integration with TH, only to do it again with MK means it wasn't just a fluke but skill and hard work. He also did it on a smaller scale with other businesses like his racing track, which wouldn't have been profitable had he not owned it; anyone without connections like his would have probably sold the land to a developer and Tremblant would have had even more condominiums instead of a race track. He managed to sell it for over 20m, in a market where every other track in a 300 mile radius has been closed in the last three years.

TBH, both the father & son is leveraging each other. There's only 20 seats in F1, and they're basically around one-tenth seconds from each other. Lance being one of the 20 helps open the gateway for Lawrence to purchase a team. Even if Lance is not capable of being the drivers champion, all Lawrence needs is just to buy Lewis/Max over to AS. 😅

Lance Stroll, like Max Vernstappen, skipped Formula 2, but had enough experience to earn a Formula 1 super license. His inexperience had hurt him, but Lawrence Stroll pairing him first, with Sebastian Vettel, and now with Fernando Alonso, has made Lance, a mature racer. His results after no pre-season testing and coming off injury, and a strong car are indications of a REAL RACER. TK

A very interesting video. I didn't know a great deal about Lawrence before, only that he is hugely wealthy. As a life long Formula One fan, its refreshing to see a 'new name' challenging for podiums and perhaps even race wins this year if something happens to the all dominant Red Bull's. In the hands of Fernando Alonso and their 2023 car, Aston Martin have already secured three consecutive podiums. Can they go one step further to the top, last year you'd have been mad to suggest so, this year, it's not impossible. I didn't know he'd paid for Lance to get the Williams drive, yet unlike many previous pay drivers, he's a fair pair of hands to back up Fernando for constructors points.

Secondly I mentioned team leaders since when did you see Horner singing Oracle or Bybit that's all done by Red bull not by Red bull racing. Under Toto's leadership Williams somehow won a race and then he moved to Mercedes and started this chain of dominance. People who have since joined Mercedes from Red bull all said that they were too focused on 2013 especially because mercedes played it's trick into making Red bull thinking that they had a challenge in the hand when they won Hungary with Lewis. Red bull specifically Horner was adamant to continue developing. Resulting in Red bull simply not having the car developed well enough.

The Mont-Tremblant track was recently sold to Gad Bitton (think Holand Leasing, Rolls Royce Montreal, along with the previously Stroll-owned Ferrari Montreal dealer). Mr. Bitton also acquired at least one of Lawrence's cars, his FXX (often displayed with #6). Both his McLaren F1's were sold a couple of years ago, and most likely many of his other cars. He sold his One57 penthouse a while ago, same with his Fisher Island condo. I believe most of the liquidating is due in great part to his divorce, especially the cars and the track. With the passing of his father back in 2022 and subsequently the sale his late father's home in October, the track and dealership sold as well, I don't expect him to keep his Tremblant mansion for very long as there's no reason for him to stay in North America. Sure, AM requires major investments, but he has many partners involved, including Mr. Desmarais of Power Corp so I highly doubt he *needed* the 25 millions from the track that bad, especially when his father's home sold for roughly the same amount, and thus the theory around the divorce.

She hasn't told me many things for confidentiality reasons, obviously, but being curious in nature I dug a bit over time just for fun The fact that a relative worked for him also helped spark an interest. He's also local to me so I have references to confirm different things (names, locations), and information is quite easy to find when you're able to cross-reference english and french resources. Most information is public if you know where to look, from the divorce and different sales to his Mustique residence and home address in Tremblant, along with other family members'. My cousin worked for/with him from 2000 to around 2015. Started at the dealership through a family connection, added some duties at the Tremblant track over the years and assisted him personally. Here's a story that I find, as a normal person and car enthusiat, a bit crazy! I was told this story over a decade ago so I'm sure my brain filled in some gaps over the years, but they were taking the Enzo on a full-day trip to drive the route he had planned for the 250 GTO owners reunion he was in charge of organizing. Not wanting to drive back the 3-4 hours needed, he called his AW139 in at the end of the first half and had her drive the Enzo back to Tremblant on her own. I also remember getting to sit in my favourite car back in September 2004, his F40 GTE; I need to find those pictures and camcorder footage! His silver 250TR was also there. Great memories. One day he was at the dealership and went missing. Given that he gets chauffeured, his security thought he had been kidnapped because he was gone and so was the range rover... he came back 10 minutes later with a poutine 😂

Christian Horner isn’t Red Bull boss at all. He is F1 team boss and sits below Dr Marko. The advantage Red Bull have is both Christian, same first name as “Toto Wolf” and Dr Marko we’re both racing drivers but both realised they weren’t good enough to make it in F1. This is the we must win ethic comes from and drivers must perform. Everyone says Red Bull are brutal but they aren’t. Both leaders recognised their failings and expect their drivers to do what they couldn’t or lose their seat.
