If you're curious about the Red vs. Blue Death Battle end cap, it was originally planned to debut before Sabrewulf vs. Jon Talbain, but the DB crew decided to delay it to coincide with the release of Red vs. Blue Zero (which was released in November 2020). That plus since Sabrewulf vs. Jon Talbain was a werewolf-themed episode, they decided to release it earlier on Halloween that year.

i cant wait till you react to Batgirl vs Spider-Gwen (yes another bat vs spider deathbattle). Spider-gwen is from another universe where Gwen Stacy got bit by a radioactive spider instead of Peter (who becomes that universe's lizard). its a pretty awesome comic series. that tries to have fun with alternate versions of characters.

I believe you saw the movie which barely touches on her story. in the battle with the lizard (aka Peter) he is killed. no one saw that he was the lizard...saw that she fought lizard and peter died. so she is wanted for questioning in the murder with her dad being captain of the police (he doesnt kow his daughter is her...name spider-gwen is just a nickname fans give and title of series. her hero name is spider-woman and now is Ghost spider). in her universe Howard the duck is President Howard T Duck. Invisible woman and human torch are famous celebrities (like the kardashians) and had a tv show. mr fantastic is a preteen boy. Tony stark owns a chain of coffee shops. daredevil is a corrupt lawyer Mary Jane is the lead singer of a rock band (that has Gwen on drums). like I said series really likes to have fun with what they can do with characters

Fun fact: This episode aired for First Members on October 31st. The quip of the Vampire episode being next year was them confirming that DIO vs Alucard would be in season 8, as they already confirmed that they were doing that episode prior.

You don't typically get as gruesome a death as that in sprite battles. In fact, doesn't really feel like they do bloody and violent deaths all that much anymore(a lot of fights use disintegration kills or something that gives a quick clean death), which is weird for a show called "Death Battle."

19:33 - Not really. Fights are not just about how fierce or aggressive you are. It's about how you handle the fight itself. Tactics, strategy and how adaptable you are. Sabrewulf is effectively ruled by his instincts and savage nature while Jon is has all but tamed his own. Hence, Jon can think far more clearly, plan accordingly, and be deliberate with his actions. Sabrewulf, on the other hand, is left doing the same thing over and over because he cannot control himself.

I may know little to nothing about neither of these characters but werewolves are always cool so I throughly enjoyed this death battle plus learning about both characters was pretty cool. Especially because apparently little red riding hood in the darkstalkers universe is strapped

As sad as that is: they're not wrong, so unless you plan on watching all of Jojo and wait for Part 6 to be finished, it's best to skip this one.

To answer your confusion they were originally gonna have Red vs Blue on Halloween but it got replace with Jon Talbain vs Saburewulf and then it went to Red vs Blue Death Battle.

Ironically, yet another Darkstalkers re-release was announced just a couple days ago.

Also speaking of darkstalkers it's re released in a new collection soon I definitely recommend picking it up when it comes out

Here's a personal fun fact. Back when you could comment on the DB Osts, I learned that apparently Brandon Yates, the guy who usually makes the vocal tracks, used to be on a heavy metal band.

the red vs blue is tricky. reason why was advertised twice...it got delayed. forgot the reason. so they had saberwulf vs talbain (maybe one before it as well) before red vs blue red vs blue is a deathbattle (not canon to the the webseries). you mightve reacted to the webseries

Ganon vs Dracula was BEFORE this one. They were hinting Dio vs Alucard

I somehow missed this one before! I'd agree on this one, though I've never been that sure on what either is fully capable of. Though I am a bit confused on where they got that Q-Bee is a B+ class. I couldn't find any class data on her, but I know that female P-Bees (the basic members of the hive) are low-tier but decently strong overall, and the males have comparable strength and speed but such a weak healing factor that they're not really combat viable in Makai (regenerative abilities are basically a must there. Unless you're B.B. Hood. She's 100% human but is so utterly terrifying that Makai recognizes her as a monster). While the Queens, Q-Bees, are supposed to be on par with Makai Nobles, who I think are all A-rank at least. So they kind of undersold her. But also oversold her, since I don't believe she lowered the hive herself and it was the entire colony working together. But even without all the weirdness of that feat, Talbain still had it pretty clearly in the bag.

Q-bee is a B+ classser. She's a Darkstalker so she automatically is a B+ classer. The only characters of the playable cast that aren't B+ classers are Demitri, Morrigan, Pyron and Jedah. Anyway, the hive feat isn't applicable because Q-bee never lifted that hive. The hive is stated to be a floating island.

2 places at once is not at all a speed feat when presented like that, and even if it was, it would be a massive outlier. It'd have to be someone like the Flash, or potentially one of the season 8 finale combatants, in order for that to be actual speed

This is one of those fights were the conclusion is correct, but their reasoning is severely flawed. You can even see it, when they talk about Jon Talbain moving at lightspeed, you can see on screen him claiming that he will _someday_ achieve lightspeed. Also, scaling him to other Darkstalkers just because they're in the same class is a very strange decision. There's really no proof that he can do the crazy things that Anakaris and Q-Bee did. Even so, he's more than fast and skilled enough to completely decimate Sabrewulf in a fight.

(Disclaimer: While the Death Battle crew were taking into account feats from the comics/mangas and anime, I'm only taking into account canon feats) John Talbain's speed is inconsistent. Some statements says he's as fast as the wind (whatever that means), some statements says he's as fast as lightning and then some statements says he has lightspeed (while in the english quote, he says he will someday achieve lightspeed, the original japanese quote actually implies he already has lightspeed and he says he'll oneday become faster than lightspeed). B.B. Hood also uses guns against the Darkstalkers (although her weapons aren't normal so maybe they could shoot at speeds faster than normal weapons, idk). Then you also have the fact that Rikuo, another B+ classer who should be about as fast as John and able to keep up with him in combat, sometimes travel around on a Mach Crab during combat and Mach Crabs are stated to only be able to swim at speeds up to 240 km/h. So yeah, overall the speed disparity in Darkstalkers is too vague and inconsistent to actually know how fast B+ classers are. As for scaling John to Q-Bee being able to lift the hive, well it doesn't work to begin with because Q-bee never actually lifted that giant hive. I found a sketch of Q-bee's ending with notes on it from the game developpers and they were in japanese so I translated these notes and they described the hive as a "floating island". In truth, the only actual strength feat we got from a B+ darkstalker was when Sasquatch destroyed a tree by kicking it with his two toes (and he seemed to do so pretty easily so there's no way toa actually know how strong B+ classers actually are). This is the only strength feat we can actually safely scale John Talbain to. John and Anakaris do scale to eachother in terms of power level. Althought, obviously, John probably can't do what Anakaris did because they both got different powers. However, I guess bringing up Anakaris feat of sinking Egypt below the surface of the Earth is the best way to estimate around how powerful John is supposed to be. For example, it's stated that C classers are strong enough to single handedly beat an entire army of first-class elite soldiers. So obviously, as a B+ classer, John is much stronger and powerful than that.

Next episode is Batgirl vs Spider-Gwen. And yeah that episode at the end was the one you reacted to as RvB was supposed to come out first before Winter Soldier vs Red Hood but got delayed

Red vs blue was supposed to be venom vs Crona but it got delayed and that why we got this death battle

Darkstalkers franchise really is a trip. I know it's been awhile since I commented, but I thought, as the werewolf in your fandom, it was my duty to do this when you got to this DB...*Shifts*...Awoooooooooooooooooooooo!...*shifts back* that's it.

I seriously think you should try and talk to Kirby and see if she will react to this too. There are a few Death Battles that have the dark/gothic style she usually tags around for and this was definitely one of them.

Yeah I had no idea who was going to win this one. Never heard of either, and at my first glance it seemed that they were pretty equal. So I wasn't upset with the outcome.

Ok the reason they showed the Red vs Blue battle again like the last episode was because of scheduling errors, I don't know the reason why but after they announced the rvb they changed it so that this battle would be next so it could tie into the October theme for a Halloween episode

They delayed the Red vs. Blue DEATH BATTLE episode for an extra two weeks. So we had to wait four weeks for the episode, so they made Sabrewulf vs. Jon Talbain became the animation for Red vs. Blue wasn't ready yet.

So, I've been watching your Death Battle reactions, and seeing as I can't find one, I have to ask; what happened to Ganondorf v Dracula? Did that one get skipped, for some reason, or was it just taken down for one reason or another?

Rooster teeth already answered this one. Even without tex, blue team would win, mostly to caboose luck and tankiness/toughness. There was a fight between everyone when they were trying to figure out which ending to go with for the season 5 finale, the one with the multiple Wyomings. Caboose was the last one standing right before a piece of the blown up ghost Doghnut was driving hit him on the head and he just layed there saying ow.
