The mirror cracks is such a stupid short story, I still wish that the entire thing is still a flop and really the soul of the real Fulgrim was still in the painting, eventually slipping into his clone after it was destroyed. The thing about Perturabo, is that Horus played him like a fiddle. With Konrad, Rogal kinda went mad on him because Fulgrim broke Konrad trust about knowing about Konrad's visions about the Emperor would order his death in the future and not believing the vision part probably said something along the lines of "oh, he thinks the Emperor would have him killed", and then... Rogal confronted his brother in anger just as Konrad went into one of his vision episodes. Mortarion was an absolute weakling. Horus' great tragedy, is that he was lied to by omission, about the Emperor's plans and the future he was building. Lorgar's fall isn't justified, since Lorgar was always and is always wrong, even as he watches Magnus do everything wrong. I absolutely love how in Betrayer, both Magnus and Lorgar blame Ahriman and Pheron-Erebus for all the things going wrong and that the "warp curdles around them". As to Alpharius, and this goes with the Primarch book lore, I think that the Alpharius we see energetically siding with the Cabal and the traitors is actually the original Omegon. The original Alpharius was found on Terra, taught by Malcador and the Emperor, enthusiastically agreed with the Emperor's role for him and his brothers. The original Alpharius, as implied in that book, became Omegon to let his twin take the lead and even went on to undermine him and the traitors.

The Irony is that the same author that wrote that intriguing idea in Fulgrim is the same author that wrote "The Reflection Crack'd" that took a dump on his own story set up. both were written by Graham McNeill.

The Majorkill videos have been fun, but I'm hoping you get back to more of Baldermort's content! His three-part series on Rogal Dorn is some of my favorite analysis and personal thoughts on lore on KZread, his entry on the Dark Eldar Homunculi is a wonderfully atmospheric piece, and the audio dramas in his Death Corps of Krieg are some of the best work I've seen from him. Getting to see any of these showing up on your channel, with your takes on his work would be awesome!

Actually I really like to read and do audiobooks. But the problem is the start of any series for me is hard to process. Specially if this books just started in the middle of the plot arc without any beginning. This is just me. That is why I really like the Space Marine video game story telling. I just find it hard to read characters that have previous lore that I don't know about, and the current book series does not explain it in details. Last time I read a series of Warhammer40k is the follow up after the fall of cadia. That is why video that explain and clear misunderstanding on the books is great for me.

Omegon: "Don't worry my brother we live for the Emperor!" Me: GW should not screw this two character's plot. I'd rather have it in the vague or unknown state. Rather than a underwhelming plot.

Lorgar was ass spanked for venerating the emperor as a god, cause the Horus Heresy and the emperor is resulted to the golden throne with the imperium praising him as a god. It’s hilarious that through his own actions, the emperor became what he hated.

I disagree, they didn’t tell him the truth. The “truth” they told him starts with a lie which causes said “truth” to become true.
