Aftermaths first album was a flop. That “been there, done that” crap and The Firm was all booboo. That’s why Jimmy was gonna sell Aftermath and thought he wasted his money helping dre leave death row. What he’s talking about is leading up to dre and snoop getting back together to make 2001 and pre Eminem.

@@F30586that all may be true but “aftermath presents” dropped in 96 and both Eminem debut and 2001 dropped in 99’ Jimmy brought Eminem to Dre..doubt they didn’t have each others number and doubt he was gonna sell while he was working with this new artist he just signed.. also you don’t sell subsidiary companies you just drop them from your label

Yeah it dropped in early 99 and Chronic 2001 dropped late 99 like November so it’s the same time frame. The Up in Smoke Tour was in the summer of 2000 and right before that in may of 2000 Em dropped the Marshall Mathers LP.

It’s likely he has a deviated septum, or some other kind of nose / throat issue. It’s beyond just coke drip voice. He permanently sounds this way
