Actually his most thrilling performance in 2018 WC was against Argentina -when he ran their defence rugged on the right win. We can definitely see the Madrid fan shine through. Ofcourse Vini is developing BUT SO IS MBAPPE. He isn’t given the luxury to rest as his expectations are much larger. He says constantly that he has to work on his game as he’s not allowed to underperform. Unlike Vini mbappe has has expectations dropped on him at a VERY YOUNG AGE- even till this day vine gets away with his absolutely poor performances in Brazil (not even cracking 5 goals to date) - something that mbappe would be crucified for doing. You’re allowed to prefer Vini as a player , but that’s an opinion not an objective fact.

Even with Mbappe at Real Madrid, Vinicius Junior has to remain on the left side. I wonder how they can fit both of them in the same team because yes Mbappe can play as a number 9 or as a second striker, but if you watch him play week in week out, he doesn’t have that much freedom as a striker than he does out wide or even playing in a 2 striker formation. Mbappe can get goals we know that, but playing as a striker is much more different than cutting in off the flank. Everyone knows that he’s at his best when cutting in off the left as that’s where he has a lot of freedom as we’ve seen with him at PSG and the France national team when he’s playing off of an Oliver Giroud, but at Real Madrid he can’t play in his preferred role because they already have one of the best players in the world in Vini. Vini can also play centrally or you can move him to the right to accommodate Mbappe, but this depends on what formation you use if you’re using a 4-3-3 you’ll need a striker to balance that attack, assuming they’re playing with a diamond of a 4-4-2 formation Vini will be on the left of a 2 and Mbappe will be on the right of a 2. Both players have to swap every time they’re on the pitch. Vinicius Junior’s form won’t be impacted by Mbappe’s arrival because he’ll play on the left and Mbappe knows that he has to play as a center forward and while it’s not his preferred position, he has come to terms with playing as a striker because he knows that at Real Madrid he can’t whine about playing out of position. Mbappe and Vini are 2 of the most dangerous players in the world they’re so fast can take players 1v1 have a combination of pace and skill and because of how deadly they are, it won’t even matter what defense Real Madrid is gonna up against because their off ball movement and how dangerous they are on the ball, if you can fit both of them in the same team along with Jude Bellingham, it’s a recipe for success. Not to mention that Toni Kroos one of the best playmakers in football history who has an unlimited passing range with Mbappe on that team he can play through passes to him and Vini as they’ll get on the end of every through ball they get from him because they’re just so fast. Vinicius Junior Kylian Mbappe and Jude Bellingham 3 of the best players in the world all Ballon Dor frontrunners can play together without any issues.

This is the reason that I wanted Mbappe to go somewhere else.

Real madrid has a history of benching great players if they didn't play according to the team kaka, bale, hazard are all example if mbabbe don't wish to sit on bench he have to adjust with the team requirement.Even Cristiano had to adjust from more of a winger position to a full on striker when playing for RM

Obviously the one most impacted will be Rodrygo Goes. Vini won't be impacted. On their positions, they'd probably playing like they are playing currently, Vini & Rodrygo repeatedly switching flanks.

I Think the problem will not be against Almeria ,Eibar, etc . But playing against big teams requires a big intensity and cardio . Mbappe is the one who have to find his place in the squad. In my opinion, Vini is better coming from the left. Mbappe has the speed in his favor but Vini is better for one on one.

Carlo Ancelotti already has the experience of managing such Big Stars before. And in my opinion I think Ancelotti is the perfect Coach for this transition period and to manage such Star studded team. He will find a way to somehow get the best out of this team. Kylian Mbappe would have to keep his ego aside and Ancelotti will make sure he does that. This is not PSG.
