Mad watching this a nearly a year later and seeing how much worse everything is now Edit: I wrote this in February of 2021, and another year later and i can’t believe it’s nearly over. It's very strange that they'd create this level of public alarm over something that really doesn't have a much higher mortality rate than any other flu. They didn't really have to say anything about it, because it's basically the same as other flus. I think there is definitely something suspicious about this alarmism, and I think that the US vs China trade war is probably where the answer lies, but it's impossible to really figure out that level of ridiculous financial corruption, because ordinary people don't have the same psychopathic tendency as bankers.

I had a friend who had the symptoms and she said it was not lio any flu she had. She was in the hospital for 3 weeks and the doctors had no clue what she had other then pneumonia and normal meds for pneumonia was not helping. She said it took 2 months to feel like herself again. I think it got passed so bad in China because at first people panicked and waited for hours in small hallways and lines all close together to get tested.The problem with this virus is that about 20% who get need to be hospitalized and watched and we do not have near the beds and no one is doing anything for making extra beds. MN has done only 5000 test and not out of test swabs. Hospital are already low because they did not order extra stuff and since the flu season is towards the end they did not think they need more. Hospitals already filling up and the peak will not be until the middle of April to May. No one will want to be going to work by April 12 because by that time a million Americans will be infected with 200,000 in the hospitals that can only hold half. If you have a stroke or something like that dont plan on getting much care either. But you will get the thousands of dollars in co-pay and deductables.

There was a severe flu going around mid October of 2019, my coworker had went on a cruise at that time around London to France, then He came back home to California and out of 8 employees at our work place I only got sick from him coughing around here he only stayed at work for half an hour (keep in mind he’s 72yrs old, and I’m 36 at the time) I literally felt sick the next day and I was so out of it I was on my death bed for 2 weeks and I was diagnosed with pneumonia, I’m pretty sure this virus started way before January 2020 and mutated after time went by, I’m not a doctor but just my 2 cents

I got it in October of 2019 also. I get my flu shot every year, and never get the flu once I've had the vaccine. Once I got it in August of 2020, I knew that's what it was. It was the pneumonia, the lung pain in my back, and severe shortness of breath, but not much snot that comes along with a flu or cold. I was sick from October of 2019 to February 2020 with that. My doctor kept insisting it was just bronchitis. I work in retail, so I am exposed to hundreds of people a day. There were extra cases of unexplained pneumonia in late 2019, I'm sure that's what it was.

"They accidentally posted the real death rate on Feb 1 as 24,000 deaths." That makes no sense as a death rate. If you can't understand that, then you miss a couple of basic points needed to understand this all.

"The greatest concern is that the virus spreads to countries with weaker healthcare systems that are not prepared to deal with it." - Turns out that this concern was warranted, only it wasn't Nigeria, and it wasn't Mexico or Turkey - it was EU and USA. Here's hoping that the countries that are next in line for the pandemic respect the first rule of pandemic: Don't be arrogant.

In Brazil we have Carnival happening right now and most people in metropolitan cities believe the government chose not to announce anyone infected to not have to cancel the events as it brings millions of dollars in revenue for Thea countries growth. I personally believe that in early march they`ll announce someone infected here.

First reported case in Egypt today. They have been slow to detect esp in Sub Sharan Africa due to lack of test kits and health care in general. More will show up.

My son was in China 2019 , August 2019 after 2 weeks of coughing and struggling to breath I was rushed to hospital. The doctors couldn't work out what was wrong with me and I was getting worse to the point I just couldn't get air in and passed out several times and on the third time I came too with a team around me and a doctor saying come on come on come back to us come on. Nurse told me it was truly touch and go. I just about managed to message my partner to tell her I love her and look after the children as I don't think I'm going to make it. I eventually started to get better and I'd been through so many tests and they couldn't tell me exactly what I'd had. It took me a year to get back to normal but I feel like I've aged 10 years . Was I one of the first in uk , don't know , was my son coming back from China the cause I don't know . The symptoms were exactly like covid . So pleased to be here today.

So glad you’re doing better now it broke my heart reading about the text you sent to your partner that is so so awful, but truly I am so glad you are okay ! You take care 🙏🏻 in October 2019 my boyfriend was seriously unwell, he was in bed a fortnight, he wouldn’t eat or drink or even go to the bathroom, I think he ate twice in a fortnight and he had a bottle of lucozade which he had one sip of and that was it. He still wasn’t well after the fortnight that was when he managed to get out of bed. We went to the doctors , me and my Mam had to link his arms and pretty much carry him into the doctors because he was so weak, he’s a muscular 6ft healthy (at the time he was 18) lad, and the doctor said she doesn’t know what’s up with him, he just has a viral infection. His temperature was 40 degrees and never in my life have I heard a cough so bad and I saw my nana pass a few months previous with pneumonia and the cough on my boyfriend I could not even describe how bad it was☹️ I truly believe it was Covid.

It's been a hard slog for us all and with no end in sight at the moment. But despite it all it's nearly Christmas and I wish nothing but the best for you and your family 🙂

@tank it's not just China these wet markets are all over Asia and even now after this virus has spread and people know where it came from countries like Thailand have still not close them down 🙄 it is also where SARS came from they have been warning this would happen for years! So blaming one country for a culture that is a part of the whole of Asia is no good it could have broke out anywhere they all need to be held responsible and get these markets closed for good

midguardz yes but I don’t think you see that most of the deaths have been due to previous underlying medical conditions such as heart disease and 80% of the Covid-19/Coronavirus cases have been mild so maybe it would be total anarchy in June if everyone have diabetes or heart disease but not everyone does

9 months later.. almost 1 million dead worldwide. I’m a nurse that worked in NYC during the pandemic and then in Texas recently during the covid spike here.. I’ve seen more people die in the last few months than I have in the last 8 years in healthcare. And finally a week ago I got covid myself.. constant fever, body aches, cough.. I just hope we find a cure for all this

I got really sick in December, I was okay one day and then I was sick the next one. It was horrible, I had no strength to even go to take a shower.

Hey on December 29, 2019 I began coughing very hard, runny nose, etc. I kept coughing. I took some cough syrup to calm the cough. It lasted 3 weeks. After that I was fine. Do you think I had COVID 19?

I Am Malin huh? I can’t think of any other that started in China apart from Covid 19. SARS doesn’t count cuz it’s HK. I mean, most scientists agree the Spanish flu started in Kansas and I mean, the Spanish flu is a whole other magnitude. So, the US is doing worse in this category
