Great Job on this
Man, I love this one too. This is probably my favorite defensive front right now, same look Brandon Staley used when he was DC for the Rams. Of course I never saw anyone option off of the 4i in the NFL though. I wish I had seen these videos when you made them a few years ago, could’ve saved myself some time trying to figure out how to attack the 404. Good stuff dude
Wishbone, scoop and loop. the nose get scooped with center/BS Guard. The FS Guard moves to the backer. FS tackle loops around.
I feel there's missing overhangs to the field on the first two clips. I understand this is how Baylor and Texas play the box (3-2 "ish") but Iowa State keeps them outside in like a 3-3 which would look like a lighter box but has two force players closer to the box instead of requiring the CB to force the ball like on the first "freeze option" play.
I run a 3-2-6 Tite Front. We stay in it vs every offensive formation. We have alot of success with it . Alot! I would love to discuss and trade ideas with you.
First of all I have no clue what a 4 I is?
As a Bama fan I really wish Saban would implement this style of defense a little more
