How close are we to eradicating HIV? - Philip A. Chan

Can we end HIV? Find out how medications like PrEP are helping to prevent the transmission and spread of HIV, and possibly leading to its eradication.
--
The world is getting closer to achieving one of the most important public health goals of our time: eradicating HIV. And to do this, we won’t even have to cure the disease. We simply have to stop HIV from being transmitted until eventually it fizzles out. Philip A. Chan explores the preventive strategies helping us tackle HIV and the possibility of ending the epidemic.

HIV has been destroyed by various means over the decades including ozone therapy, betulinic acid, compound Q, etc, etc, etc. AIDS on the other hand has been cured in some people by simply getting them off the AZT, which induces AIDS and allowing the bone marrow to regenerate. In fact the largest study ever done on AZT, the Concorde Study, found that AZT SHORTENED the lives of people testing HIV positive, which due to the extremely high inaccuracy rate of the HIV antibody tests DOES NOT mean infection or even exposure. The HIV antibody tests have over 65 known causes for false positives and if you read the product inserts for these tests even the drug companies state are not accurate enough to used for diagnostics. And since AIDS is a syndrome, not a disease, it has more than on cause. Interestingly under the original definition of AIDS the HIV virus could not even cause AIDS. It was not until one of the U.S. governments scientists, Robert Gallo, who had already been busted for scientific fraud fraudulently claimed before a world-wide AIDS symposium that HIV (formerly known as the human T-cell leukemia/lymphoma virus type 3) was the cause of AIDS that the definition of AIDS was changed to fit the HIV virus. Gallo lied for personal profit as he held the patent rights on the HIV test. And the government had to cover up Gallo's lie to prevent being embarrassed by Gallo for his fraud yet once again.
