How Cigars Are Rolled - ASMR (Male Voice)

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

I talk about my favorite 50-year old robusto mold, and the various leaves and tools used in rolling, and then I roll a cigar, using the "Dominican double-cap" method.

Thanks. Well, it's definitely "unintentional." It's just the same video style I've done for ten years. But someone, maybe you, I don't know, said I should stick "ASMR" in the title and I said, Sure, ya, I'll do that. So I did. 🙂

Hey there. When you say "send," do you mean "give"? I would be up for that. It would be interesting to see how your mold design performs. Are you talking about the metal ones? I could be wrong, but I don't think you can get the exact volado I use, as I get it from a private connection who sends me a few pounds a year with which to do my videos. Perique would tend to overpower most volados anyway, so it doesn't matter that much.

How long do you rest cigars before smoking after you actually roll? Love the videos. It is hard to get leaf up in Canada without paying a lot of tax on incoming imports from the US. I did grow some Burley and Islangold last year but didn't succeed very well in roll cigars. Made some nice pipe tobacco though. I have 5 different kinds to plant this year to try and get some decent leaf to age and start rolling some cigars.

I pretty much give my entire thought process on it. "Ligero strong, so not too much. Viso, that's where the aroma's at, so plenty of that; seco, burns well but not much flavor, so only one leaf." I don't go beyond that because I don't really know beyond that. Some people are just not good with flavor notes and profiles and stuff. It'll have a certain pleasant aroma of mixed tobaccos, with medium strength.

maybe you could eventually show cutting and lighting it... just a thought... I know you could get an angle that does not dox you... what lighter/matches or whatever you prefer... maybe you have odd tips about something to do with etiquette on that front... I don't even smoke I just find it neat to have a window into a world where such care is taken into what many think is "just a cigar" maybe show the press or how you keep the leaves... do they stay in a humidor perhaps... all just speculation from intrigues and interest. thanks for the uploads :)

  • @BlissCigarCo

    2 ай бұрын

@@ZZ-my9be I guess you are talking about the wrappers. That's a combination of leaf prep, rolling method, and the leaf itself. If it's the leaf itself, then you need to buy a leaf with lighter veins. I've heard the "Ecuador shade" wrappers at Leaf Only are pretty low veinage, but I don't have personal experience.
