Are you sure you guys are not on the CIA’s payroll to spread propaganda against Huawei? Are you deliberately ignoring Huawei’s R&D capability and huge investments? Are you neglecting the fact that Huawei has become the world’s market leader in creating technological patents? Are you telling me that America is far superior to China in virtually every field of tech, except that used for espionage and counterintelligence? Are you blind to the fact that China actually has welcome foreign participation in building its 5G telecommunication network? Are you hiding the fact Huawei has opened its source codes to Western governments, who find no evidence of abuse by the Chinese government? Why don’t foreign competitors take Huawei to court, if they have concrete evidence of espionage by Huawei? Isn’t Huawei’s competitive quality what’s really giving Washington cold sweat? How many Western tech giants are not run by Western graduates? If the “free market” owes its success to layers upon layers of “trade secrets”, how do the average consumers make rational *informed decisions?

Not really, if you people educated yourselves on how most of the reputable password storage companies work you would realize they can't see your passwords and any good company only stores a customoer ID to verify you and your device. Not to mention everything is encrypted so even if they could see it it would just look like random nonsense.

Shouldnt be that smooth imo. I'd respect the sponsor better (more chance to use their service) if it did not use ninja transition at the end of the video. Content should focus on content (as per the title) and sponsor has their place with proper transition. I'd respect "Once again, this video is brought to you by ..." as transition in the end, because it prepares me for what to expect next. On ninja transition, i am still in the midst of content and then without warning be ambushed by sponsor. I dont find it cool and I will not be using whoever be advertised there. If i need the service I will look for a competitor who didnt ambush me.

the principle of patent law is by opening the tech to public in exchanging of protection for a certain time. If a company decide to keep their tech as a business secret, they can not blame others to sell the similar product after they figure out how to produce the similar thing. Reverse engineer is so common in tech field you do not need to invite wheel again.

It would be interesting to see how powerful Huawei truly is. With the banning, they would be forced innovate at a faster rate, as well if Apple were banned, how well the Chinese economy could make up for that massive loss of labor force participation (job losses). In terms of spying, the Chinese are fine with their country doing it and the US are fine with their country doing it. China's main advantage is the ability to influence sentiment from within the US which i've seen to be very effective.

There are 2 sarcastic facts about Huawei's interaction with the western world. One is the failed acquisition attempt from Motorola. In 2003, there was already a deal between Ren and Mike Zafirovski, COO of Moto by then, in which they reached a consent of Ren selling the WHOLE Huawei to Moto by only 7.5bn usd, while Ren's team only reserving their employee positions. And you know what? The deal was turned down by Moto board, stating that 7.5bn is too much for an 'unknown foreign quantity'. And the other funny thing is that when Huawei was on the climax of copying and reverse-engineering, the U.S. gov did not take it too seriously. However, when Huawei is now actually presenting their own innovations to the market, Trumpists went mad. Ren has always followed an military methodology. He's no stranger to abusing useage of labor and espionage, as long as they payes off to him and his legion employees. He also insists on R&D efforts with no significance on the market in the near future, with which Huawei would take them as reservation for 'wartime'. Such policies make Huawei like a hamster in a supposed tropical island who stores nuts for a winter no one even imagine that it may come. And to many descent and naive people's surprise. Now the winter has come. And it's a fxxking Totalen Krieg, with no one within it being safe.

Yes it is an opinion. As there are many sides to a story / conflict, so are the opinions. USA's history also speaks as well, it HAS (created), supported, and supplied many questionable regimes and terrorist groups over the years. It has used companies like Cisco and Blackberry to spy and for espionage. Before there was a term called Cyber-warfare, US was engaged in it. But as it controls and bullies the so called multi-national organizations, so far has not faced any consequences. China is not the big bad bully here, rather it is the US of A. Yes China is waking up and flexing... But for many of us it is a welcome change... I would suggest you also listen to some of Prof. Kishore Mahbubani talks and have a perspective from the other side as well.
