Before you find faults with the Indian economic process and the "Make in India" initiative please remember two important facts. One, that it costs the Federal Reserve only 18 cents to print a bill of any denomination. The second fact to remember is that there are 35 Trillion dollars of such currency notes that form the total debt of the US. There is a huge disparity between the gold availability to back the currency and the total debt. The world is not ready to accept the USD anymore. In the coming five years, as the de-dollarization of the USD goes ahead, you will realize how inflated the USD really is. The reset USD may not be even half of its current value. So India is wary, and so is China.

Hehe watching this on Airtel and Jio network. Airtel is no pushover. The quality of its network is unmatched. Even the famed Jio network doesn't come close to the quality of Airtel network. My family has 5 Airtel and 5 jio connections. All active and used. Some for daily use and some just for backup. Indian consumers no longer worry about voice and data prices. After eSIM era arrives fully, we will see dozens of distinct mobile connections for every consumer. They will have different one, possibly even two or three, for every device ... CCTV, wrist watch, cellphone, cars, bikes, TVs, laptops ... possibly even for every credit card or debit cards.

Compared to all other millionaires and billionaires existed in India, Mukesh's business plan brought changes to every part of India and household. Earlier, Airtel and Vodafone rised the data tariff for 1 gb data to 249 from 199 rupees, then lessened the validity period of 1 month from 30 days to 28 days. There were a lot of facebook posts like, lets not use internet for a day and show our protests, let's not recharge for a month and show our anger. But everything remained as words until Jio entered the market. Airtel went to court multiple times to stop Jio from selling data at a lesser price. The court stood with Mukesh. 3 months later Airtel was imposed a 1000₹ crore fine for indulging in malpractices and tampering Jio to Airtel network calls. That's airtel for u.

The information in this video is so, so old it’s ridiculous. Reliance industries did this back in December 2002 when they rolled out fibre across the entire country and gave away free mobile phones and data plans to tens of millions of users within just a month. Indians have been watching live cricket on smart phones YEARS before most Americans ever sent their first SMS. I know… because I worked on the Webstore project in Mumbai in 2002. The year before I travelled to New York around 9/11and was shocked that my most of my friends there had Nokia 5110’s but had never heard of text messaging as their phone providers had not deployed the service yet.
