Renewable energy Solar Thermal plants. Pakistan has the most salt in the world. Biogas plants. Pakistan has one of the highest number of cattle to human population ratio. It can also be done from sewage waste sludge. China is a close friend who should help with cheaper Solar panels! Many other renewable options are available. However the govt has made deals with oil and gas companies for many years to come. They will never suggest such alternatives.

Without getting into complex terminology please do few simple things.1- Make Kalabagh dam (those who can glue 18 different parties for regime change operation, can very easily convince these goons to develop consensus on kalabagh) 2- Use the best available solar irradiation for solar thermal energy.U.S. has developed SEG.Modal and Spain has developed ANDASOL. Not a complicated tech. 3- use the air power available at our 1000 km. long coastline to harness energy through wind mills. 4- Ask china to invest into manufacturing of solar panels in Pakistan. 5- pay attention to develop our local coal reservoirs. 6- don't forget our canal system's potential to produce electricity. 7- invest more in oil and gas exploration. 8- Pay attention to your distribution system i.e. line losses theft and worn out equipment. to me these are the basics we need to do.

agreed on your points except kala bagh dam. it will effect sindh agriculture lands. lot of agri land in sindh is already effected due to dams on river indus. kala bagh will make sindh agri lands barren. keep in mind i am not from sindh but kala bagh should never be made.

I have spent more than ten years in sindh both on left and right banks of river Indus. Based on personal experience I can tell you with honesty the agriculture will rather flourish .still if you need more information you can listen to honorable Shamsulmulk . he is the most professional gentleman on this subject

@@salmanmehmoodbutt can you tell me why many agri land area of Sindh is lacking water now. it was better 40 years ago when there were less dams on river Sindh. more dams on Sindh river will be disastrous for Sindh agri lands. its simple logic why should you listen to some expert for this.

@@ushnakhan2529 More knowledge from an expert will surely widen your thinking horizon and give you better understanding of the actual problem, Some times the face value of an issue is different from intrinsic value.the quality of soil depends on so many other factors.

@@salmanmehmoodbutt can you answer my very simple question? why agri land of Sindh has become barren since last 30 years. why there is dry rivers in Sindh. Just like river Ravi in Lahore is dry due to Indian dams, same happens when you block rivers and store water, you will use the water to irrigate your land and will make other provinces barren, and when your dams are over full you will let the water go and cause flood in other provinces. India is doing the same with our country, now you want to do the same with Sindh. Hope you will answer the question I asked.

One thing is clear that Pakistan does not have a will to develop and deliver. It’s a cultural problem. You guys are stuck and confuse among being modern or follow Islam.
