I think Bruno is a tricky character, his biggest strength is also a weakness at times....... he's just too ambitious

I think maybe the best example of a player Bruno could learn from is Bernardo Silva. Increase the pass completion rate, rotate the ball around and then creativity at the right moment. There was one game where Bruno ran it from a deeper role with lots of passes and control.

We bought the wrong players this summer. Instead of Mount and Onana, I think we need RB/LB and a ball progression midfielder more.

Bruno was very frustrating in this game, he did lots of good things but a lot of disappointing actions too. Still, he won the game.

The amount of premier league players that don't open their body up when recieving the ball is mad, Reece James last night constantly touched the ball back towards goal instead of opening out and he was under no pressure 🫣

tbh, it's upsetting when players who are not under pressure quickly pass the ball back, only few get it right

Expecting a 29 year old Bruno who lacks the basics of football to improve his on the ball technique is tantamount to trying to teach an old dog new tricks. Bruno has more passes because he literally plays every game and never gets substituted.

Bruno is an engine for sure but he needs the team to help him play short and long to better effect , sometimes UTD switch off and wait for some magic to happen instead of being proactive and give Bruno more passing options. Imagine him in a city side on the left of kdb

@@atnahsinnamrab5656 It’s fine attempting them, he should never change.. It’s just in those moments he’s too worried about messing up instead of being a bit more “whatever” about it.. It’s as if every failed pass or every loss of possession he feels a bit TOO annoyed about it.. Chill, relax, the next one will work.. He carried United for 18 months, now he’s captain, I think he feels it’s all on him to drag United out of a hole when things ain’t going great.. He’s always attempted risky things, it’s how he’s got 120 odd goals and assists already, just needs to relax, when you ain’t relaxed and think too much you’ll scuff it, over hit it, take a poor touch, make poor decisions, all sorts starts going wrong.. It doesn’t help that Bruno and Rashford get so much stick from our own fans, they’re by far our two best players and have at times over the last 3-4 years taken turns carrying a bang average bunch of players.. Both deserve praise not stick.

I think Bruno's skillset is similiar to Van den Boomen at Ajax...but then again Bruno is too weak at defensive duels and we cant play him alongside Mason Mount as two 8's unless we have a younger version of Casemiro. IMO if we play Bruno it is best to have a midfield three of Mainoo Amrabat and Bruno. Mainoo as the deep ball carrying 6 and Amrabat as a supporting box to box for build up play

i think if we signed players who can play deep allowing bruno to focus playing around the striker making runs inbehind . whats happening with pogba is happening with bruno , were we want him near the goal but now starting to come deep , trying to do more cause we need more .... Martín ZUBIMENDI and Amadou ONANA would be perfect for bruno allowing him to focus on his strengths , his working , box threatening ability

We are already the best counter pressing team this season but also the least effective from those positions of advantage. The video should be how to take advantage of our counter pressing.

The manager doesn't drill and set them to play like this tactically. You can tell they are playing by ear not in a system where the players all know where the ball will be passed/crossed to around the danger areas. Look at how Arsenal, Newcastle, Liverpool and City play. The players know where one another are going to be once they received the ball, making off the ball runs systematically.

You talk in a way most people wouldn’t understand because they’ve never been taught how to properly trap a ball.. Most people probably don’t even know there is a “proper” way to trap a ball.. Like you say Bruno needs to start doing the simple things better, but most people won’t have a clue what those “simple” things are.. I think Bruno has spent so long being his teams (United and Lisbon) goal getter, running in behind, finishing moves etc, taking the ball in his stride that he’s sort of lost that robotic “touch and turn” shit that is drilled into kids that you need to be really effective between the lines.. Ten Hag clearly wants him more involved in the build up than he used to be under other managers, he has to start thinking a bit more Mctominay and a bit less Berbatov..

I like your analytical videos, I really do. But then sitting behind a computer and advicing a professional talented top class premier league player how to play better, how to do his job better. I somehow can't buy into that. It's one thing being adviced by coaches and ex-players but otherwise... nope can't digest that.
