OMG THATS WHAT IM SCARED OF!!

I GOT MY BRACES its not painful at all! They don’t numb you or put laughing gas on you. The only flaw was that my mouth was dry and i needed hella chapstick. They do put a blue gunk stuff on ur teeth and it literally tastes sour :( thats it. So for all my anxiety babies like me. I assure u its fine❤️

@@amxyqs today I was crying so hard cause she said I didn’t have a a perm tooth for the tooth that I have loose rn and I’ll have to share a perm tooth with another tooth. BUT the way she said it made me cry so much 😭

I get my braces tomorrow to even be able to say that is honestly just so .. unreal . I’ve wanted braces for so long, couldn’t afford them . I found a wonderful orthodontist willing to give me 1k off bringing me down to 3k for everything including my retainer by the grace of god my mom came up on some bread and will finance my braces. I feel like I’m ready for this , I’ve learned to love my imperfect smile and now I’m being blessed with something I’ve wanted for years 😩😩 thank you to the universe and I wish the same for everyone

I'm a late bloomer and getting my braces on in a couple hours. I watch this video and I really like how you detailed the process, and also everybody's comments below definitely gives me confidence that I can do this. Thank you video creator and the commenters for the motivation.

While I was getting my braces on a few hours ago, I wondered how they were applied. Pretty cool! I’m excited to see what my teeth will look like when they’re off.

Well I do have them now, and I’ve gotten used to them. I was able to manage the soreness for the first few days, and I had to learn how to brush my teeth and floss my teeth all over again. Well just how it feels like. I really do like them 😍

I got mine in July and all I felt was gagging but I’m glad it’s over. Don’t feel scared because I have a very sensitive gag reflex.

This is so cool. I just got my braces on me on Thursday. It didn't hurt at all to me. They were really professional, careful and nice.

I’ve had braces for months now and I’m on my 3rd wire So you start off with a really thin wire and work your way up to a thicker wire you get some dental wax If you have a pokey wire take some wax and put it on the pokey wire I would recommend taking a pain killer before getting braces and 2 or 3 hours after getting them in its then they start to hurt Be prepared for some amount of pain the first week or so Here’s some food recommendations Stick to food that’s easy to swallow and don’t require that much chewing 1. Soup 2. Yogurt 3. Bread but cut the edges off Also the wire is heat activated so if is really hurting eat an ice cream or put a ice cube in your mouth or drink something really cold as slush ice or cold water you get it That’s all hope you enjoy your good smile after braces 😁

Hey, I’m getting mine on about two weeks and I was wondering about the pain. Is it like, more pressure that your not used to or is it actual pain? Cause I’ve been watching videos and videos about braces and only one of them said that it’s more of pressure that your not used to pain, I’m sorry I just don’t like pain 😅😢😂

Seraph_Pephka it’s more pressure you fell when they get on and after a day it will start to kinda hurt if you chew hard stuff but you don’t feel pain when you aren’t doing anything would recommend taking a pain killer if it’s annoying you and remember the wire is heat activated so if you drink cold stuff or eat ice its a short relief

Seraph_Pephka hehe some people say it’s much worse then it really is so I hope you like what I told you 😃

To everyone who is getting braces, do not worry. Its doesnt hurt at all as they're just putting metal on your teeth, not in. I was absolutely terrified, the only thing that I say was bad was the mould where they put this gum like thing on your teeth. It presses on your gag reflex and that's when you have to breath through your nose. After about a minute, the orthodontist will take that out and start with the braces. I got train tracks, so she put the glue on my teeth one at a time, each while putting the metal on and pressing firmly. Then the assistant will have this light type thing and press it on the metal. This sets the glue in place and makes sure nothing will move. It may sound scary, but really you dont feel a thing when it's being set. After all of them is put into place, they will put the wire in. Honestly, I quite liked it, because you could feel the wire pop into place and it feels like a slight tightening. (Does not hurt, trust me). I got a glue like thing placed on the very back of my molars, this was to help my over bite. It was done, then and now you just have to be careful with what you eat, make sure you get them tightened and have regular dentist appointments. Brush your teeth 2-3 times a day :)

As they have to take the best mold so they press the container until it like touches your teeth but a little space left! But all the mold feels like its going to my throat thats where i started puking but didnt puke!! If you know what I mean!! But after like 8 -10 seconds they take it off but the mold was sticky so it kinda stuck at your teeth so they take it out hard and it only pain to like 3-4 seconds and then it came off!!

I’m watching this before I get mines done monday!! I’m so excited for a better smile

Trinitay Nation i was so scared to get mine bc ppl would tell me that they will hurt a lot but they don’t! i’ve had mine for about a week or so and the only pain really is when you’re eating and on the first day. you might not have any pain at all or it might hurt. the experience is different for everyone! good luck :)

For those getting braces soon I want to say don’t worry it won’t hurt! And u might be wondering how do I know well I have them on and last week I got new ones! Well...... when they put the UV light it might hurt but it will be over soon and also ur first three days try to avoid eating hard stuff like apples bc ur teeth aren’t used to the braces so don’t worry! I also want to remind u to stay safe wear a mask stay 6 feet apart and wash ur hands ik it isn’t the best thing and it’s not very comfortable but well make it out of this together! 💗🥺

I have braces, it’s horrible first couple days, but it’s amazing my teeth were badly crooked but now there very straight, I’m getting them off in November!

Okay, I’m watching this the night before I get my braces put on and I have to say this made me a bit less scared considering how they are put on, Thank you so much!

Wonderful video! I remember going to the doctor's and was very scared because any video like this wasn't there. But I'm just happy that such a helpful video is now here for all of you who are scared of the 'pain' that these braces will cause. Also let me just say that I got them 2 years back. It was not particularly painful but it did feel quite uncomfortable but only because there was something between your lips and your teeth which was not there before. But don't worry after 3-4 days it actually felt quite normal. What I want to recommend is if you want to correct your teeth positions, and you can afford it, then please please please don't hold yourself back. Trust me I got them removed in the starting of the year and guys it's totally worth the time and effort you are putting in!

I got my braces back in December 2020 Well, it is a little painful process but i am excited for results ❤❤ Like for that perfect smile 🌸

This helps me feel so much better about getting braces ❤

for those of you who are getting braces, trust me! it doesnt hurt at all !! there's no needles or anesthetic involved when putting them on, your lips/cheek area will feel a bit sore tho after putting them on bc of how long that stretch thingy (?) (idk what it's called-) is in your mouth. just be careful of what u eat, especially gum since it can get stuck in your braces and is a pain in the ass to remove :] personally, a day after i got my braces nothing hurted, i ate things like chips as well but it didnt hurt, but it does depend on the person ! i got my top and bottom braces at different times bc one of my tooth on the upper side (?) of my mouth was in the wrong place and at the wrong angle so i had to get surgery for that. minus the surgery part, overall getting braces dont hurt at all :]] (sorry for bad english, it isn't my native language sjhshsjd)

@@anwitaaparmar6007 getting the anesthetic injected in my gums was the scariest part and it hurts a little (depends on your pain tolerance) so i did cry a bit but afterwards u wont feel anything bc you're numb in that area now so no pain whatsoever during the surgery :)

For me, when I got my braces, I barely tasted the blue stuff. You don't really have to swallow it or anything, so you should be fine. Good luck! Hope your teeth turn out beautiful!

If you do end up needing braces for it, they'll probably have you wear bands to correct the overbite

I cannot stay still at the dentist! I was getting a filling in my tooth yesterday and I couldn’t stop moving 😢 and her braces are so cute!

If you go to the dentist again and have to go through the needle being pushed in again, try your hardest to endure the pain while it's in, just sit with the pain and endure it untill the needle is finally pulled out, it shouldn't take very long for them to put the numbing stuff in.

It can be a little painful because you're not use to your mouth being opened so wide I would assume 😂 but it's tolerable for me at least.

Dont worry it doesn't hurt to get them on! It only hurts after a while because your teeth are being slightly pulled, try not to clench your teeth and eat cold foods, also the worst pain is the brackets scratching your lips but they call ice over and can actually make your lips look bigger

I just got my braces a month ago, I thought it was going to be difficult, but after i got them it wasnt so bad. It hurt for 4 days then the pain was all gone. My teeth got used to the braces and everything was back to normal. If you are scared dont be, it is all perfectly normal.

Im actually watching this a couple months after I got my braces done but to the people who are scared of or are considering getting braces trust me it’s worth it and it’s hella cool just seeing the process I had crooked teeth before I got them on and just in a month or two of having braces it had a huge difference

Fun fact: did you know that this process takes about an hour or so and that means you get to lay on the chair for an hour while they put on the brackets and you can get hiccups and you can swallow a bracket so be careful.

ikr I had no idea what was exactly going on when I got braces…that was longgggg ago that was back in 2014

I love how they managed to actually record this while at the dentist-

Me watching this with braces for 2 years And for some wondering or scared, no, you don't feel anything when the brackets are being placed on your teeth, but a few hours or minutes after, it hurts like hell, they said eat ice cream to relieve the pain and it helped for me so try it. It took 2 weeks or a month for me to eat properly again, even just doing nothing your teeth hurts nonetheless. And yeah everytime the dentist adjust your braces ( once every 2 weeks or a month or so) it hurts again but not as the first time so don't worry. I suggest eat everything and I mean EVERYTHING before you get your braces cuz you might not eat anything on the first month of your braces. (disclaimer!! This was my experience and some people that I've talked that had their first braces too.)
