Irvin was WR you loved to hate when he wasn’t on your team. So physical he could bully DBs. But when he spoke you had to respect his approach to the game. Today he’s an elder statesman of NFL players. Still remember Irvin’s SB catch where he jumped & blocked the defender w/his leg.

I worked at the resort the pats stayed at when they played and beat the Seahawks in the SB in AZ 2015, I was in charge of working on the HVAC systems through the resort and remember leaving for the day/morning since I worked the overnight shift that weekend, and seeing Jules at 7:00am warming up with his trainer with tennis ball drills against a wall on our loading dock that led to the employee parking lot on the morning of the Super Bowl before I had to be back at 11:00pm the same night…it was crazy how locked down our resort was that whole week, for even every employee, let alone the regular guests who had to stay on the other half of the resort than the team obviously…but heard some awesome stories about the players and the team from the banquet staff, as their victory SB after party was at the resort, I was on the roof working on HVAC systems and just heard a bunch of thumping Lol…the most memorable was how big Gronk and Brady were, and the huge hip hop/ R&B artists they had that performed in our main ballroom, I think it was Flo Rida, Rick Ross, and a few others I can’t remember
