HOW BILLIONS ARE MADE DAILY ON THESE STREETS | ONITSHA ADO N IDU

Ойын-сауық

#onitsha #anambrastate #nigeria #africa
Hello, I trust you are doing fine. In this video, I talked about Onitsha as a commercial city. I talked about the indigenes of Onitsha and the non indigenous people. How money is being generated and transacted in this city. I absolutely enjoyed filming this. I honestly hope you enjoy watching.

Good video. Before I left Nigeria I used to visit Onitsha quite often, my cousin has a manufacturing business there and I use to buy products from their markets as well. We are from Ondo state so it goes to tell you other tribes are doing business there as well. The road network could be improved, it would bring the city out better. Large large market, very good for ambitious, business minded people.

Onicha was not from Bini rather some Igbos lived in Benin, when Ezechima an Igbo settler had issue with Oba of Benin. Ezechima and family started going back to Igbo land. Please research.

You're right bro, I am looking for this comment. For her information, Onitcha did not stopped at Anambra state. We have Onitcha in Delta state, Onitcha also in imo, and Ebonyi state. It was a dispute between Oba of Bini, even the then Oba was a prince from Ile-ife who visited Idu, and found a very beautiful girl, and she bore him a child... which I assumed must be an igbo girl, you and I know that Igbos are still rating to have the most beautiful girls till today in Nigeria. So when problem started Eze-chima, has to flee with his people downward... During that Exodus, people keep stopping places they find other Igbos, some even refused to move, and prefer to remain slaves in Bini, some still maintain their igbo language, while some did not. So young lady, make a research, if you're truly from Onitcha.

@@brightsoul6299 you lied bro the migration started from ile-ife when they got to benin they settled there after 400 years they had issues with oba eweka what cursed the problem was when the new king was crowded normally when a new king Is installed he normally kill a cow in every of the shrine in benin but he refused to do so at Onitsha ado shrine so they got angry and left benin that is what really happened so don't say they where slaves mad man they are not even igbo when they got to Onitsha they started behaving like igbo Onitsha an Onitsha man has an igbo ,benin and igala blood because igala people are the ones that helped them cross the river Niger

Onicha people did not migrate from Bini. Onicha people were Igbos (Aro or Arochukwu people) that traveled to live in Bini kingdom. Aro people were the travelers in those days. There is an Aro community in almost every town in Igboland. During agha Iduu na Oba (war between ndigbo in Bini led by Iduu and Bini kingdom led by Oba), the Igbo people (Aro people that went to Bini) started coming back. Some of them settled before the Niger, hence Onicha Ugbo, Onicha Olona, Asaba, Ogwashi, etc, while some made it across the Niger to form Onicha (Onitsha, Anambra State). Aro people in the Bini kingdom were influential and contributed to the kingdom. Bini adopted the four Igbo market days.

Zik in his Odyssey, claimed that his ancestors came from Bini and that Onitsha means Onini= to look down on others to which Ojukwu replied that there are more towns answering Onicha in many parts of Igboland than what he had. Onicha in Ngwa. Ebonyi, Mbaise, Mbano, Ehitte Uboma, Abia, Nsukka, etc. When Ojukwu died Igbo wept but unfortunately for Zik, it was mild. They claiming not Igbo per Chima is even laughable b/c Chima is core Igbo name. 75% of Igbos identify with Ojukwu.
