It's wild how exhausting it can be not only thinking about the photos you want to make but adding in filming it all and telling the story of what you are doing along with it...when I started doing it it truly surprised me. Like you, sometimes I just have to go out and take photos and not film.

I applaud those that can make regular and coherent content for KZread. I have a very small channel and, at this point, I don't really see it affecting my shooting as I often end up sacrificing the video for the sake of the photography. I still don't get out as often as I want to, and I do video even less than that as there are definitely times I'm just out to get out and video just isn't part of it for me. For me video is still a huge learning process - I took TV production in college, and aced it, yet video is so different today than it was 30 years ago. Keep doing what makes you happy. Another amazing image.

You have hit the nail on the head Sarah, I feel like I have to record every shoot because if I don't it feels like I've wasted a potential KZread video. Because of this I think I'm putting more effort into the video and not 100% into my photography, hope that makes sense, cheers

We cannot but love you as well Sarah! 99.9% of the time you bring such joy and exuberance to our day and inspire us to just get out there and sometimes we just photograph vicariously through you. The other .1% we are in angst or sadness with you over lifes little temper tantrums and losses. Thank you again for sharing this ride!!!

YouTub? What's that? I've never heard of it. There is a price to pay for living in one of the most picturesque places in the world. COLD!!! I still think you need to come down to the 150-mile long north shore of Lake Superior in Minnesota. You talk about places to create the Yellow dress images, especially in the fall. The colors will make the yellow dress become a painting. You always fly off to exotic locations. This one isn't that far in comparison. Yeah, I am a little biased, but it has been named one of the great adventures vacation spots in the world. Just ordered my Canon 16-35mm f/2,8 L II USM lens. 😊 Can't wait to create! Hopefully, I will get some Milky Way night scape and waterfall images in August. Always good to see and hear the little girl enthusiasmMa Lady! Fabulous shot! Then look who took it! 💙💙

Glad you are with people when you are out a ways. Bears are interesting creatures. I have run into them twice at night by myself and honestly, I'd rather not do that again. Great photo & video.

I know exactly where you are coming from, I only started KZread a couple of years a go, and only a small channel, but it's so time consuming too, especially when working a normal job at the same time, as I'm a weekend Warrior with my photography. You need to have the passion for creating to even think of starting a KZread channel these days. All the best from not so sunny England, and keep on creating, loving these locations you keep finding for your yellow dress images 🥰📷👍

I sometimes think about my favorite youtube channels when I'm out taking photos and realize that adding a narration or creating a cohesive story out of my day shooting would be a real challenge! I don't know you or Nick Carver pull it off (my two main "on location" shoot channels). But please keep it going.

I can see KZread would be like a job, you have to produce once a week. You live in a breathtaking place where the Mountains and Sky have deimatic weather, I know here in Southern Oregon, tourists can be something to deal with 😂
