@@georgetmusic true that but he showed how he opens up mixing racks (vcas, vox bus etc.) in the recording session when he starts the mixing process. I guess if he always has a different chain he just opens up routing channel presets without plugins

My mixes got so much better after watching all the videos with bainz. digesting the information then take it in to practice when needed. He really doing the most! Anyone managed to snipe the settings on his distressor parrarel?
Tbh his work flow is similar to to what a lot of what too engineers does and from experience when I do try some of these methods it works but all I can say is us engineer are literally just dialing and adjusting shit to sound good almost like making a math equation and trying to put it in the problem to solve (when u reach a high lvl In mixing)but yea these videos helped me alot

perfectly said, u learn the alphabet with each plugin and top engineers learn to create sentences or expressions
yes george, you've done a great job here ...thanks for sharing. Quick question....what stream is that where bainz is in the north face jumper discussing clip gain fx and showing his actual settings .....it's not the streams with matt rad, killshot or teezio...its some other guy he's talking to? Here it is kzread.info/dash/bejne/Z4ph1LN-ZtDWnrg.html
so for parallel processing he has the compressors set and only adjusts... how much is being sent into it? or the volume of the return?

@Splitting Time yep he does you have a point but some of the stuff he’s doing is unnecessary and doesn’t make a sound difference
It makes you wonder how they made all that great music and all those hit records from the 60's, 70's and even the 80's before all this signal processing was available ... We're still listening to that music and lot's of today's artist try to capture the magic of that era.. It's called great song writing and great talent which trumps the attempts to compensate for the lack ... I like all of the toys but if it's not at least a good song from artists that really have the juice then all the plugins and processing in the world won't make a difference ..
@NathanOrlick

It's not even that the performances he's working with arent top shelf, he just seems to love stacking cutting edge plugs. Not necessary at all.
I wonder how his mixes will change, considering he's gonna have to record them thru prison phones. Great video though!
