You're videos are very informative and I appreciate the time spent to make them. I just bought a home in CT, about 1.5 acres with prob 1.0 acres being a mixture of grasses. Had one of these Bad Boy mowers when i lived in TX, not sure which model it was (seller had left it) - but after some tinkering with it, it certainly was a decent mower. So, the latest '24 model Magnum is being delivered this week. I'm pretty handy and can usually figure sh!t out, but - thanks for giving me some "heads-up" on what to look for and what to watch on the mower (that isn't stated in the manual). Hell Yeah! A cigarette Lighter for dear ol Grandpap when he'd cut the lawn after church on Sunday! Lovin' it. Peace!

Thanks I appreciate it glad you found the video helpful. The cig lighter is definitely a unique option lol the only other mower I have seen it on was a Dynamark

if u don't leave Ur mower outside Ur seat won't soak up moisture nor will it rust

That is true but they leave them out at the dealership or store and they are subject to rain there. Also not everyone has a shed to store their mower in.

@@iceberg2221 I would recommend a good tarp or a fitted mower cover if you plan on leaving it outside they also make seat covers. Plastic bags will normally build up with condensation and that defeats the purpose of covering it

Yes, the lack of that center anti scalp wheel is a issue. I cant believe they left that off. Their cost to add one would have probably been less then $5. But for most this doesnt come in to play because they have perfect flat yards of sod. That isnt my case I have 1.5 acres of rough uneven lawn. Seems these companies all of them come so close to being perfect but none of them can hit it out of the park.

Nice I wanted to get a Elite but where I got mine only had 48" decks I wanted a 54" probably would have been happier with one but it did allow me to buy a nice Stihl (fs111rx)string trimmer and a new push mower I did have a budget I was trying to keep to. I was planning on getting a Toro Titan before this. I think that was around $6000 but the dealership didn't have one assembled so I went with this instead.

Before I bought my MZ Magnum, a salesman at a place I was looking at them was trying to sell me a different brand. He told me that they had a bunch of frames out back that had broken under warranty. Later I called the factory & they said that was BS, as a matter of fact all of their mowers have the same frame! Also that grease zerk you were talking about really is a pain. I had to take it to the dealer the first time & have them do it & show me where it was. I then called Bad Boy & they told me how they do it, which seemed to be a pain, but the next 2 times I greased it, I finally got it done with a longer hose. This last time, I lifted up the rear with the front end loader on my tractor, and there it was in plain sight & easy to access! All in all I love it! BTW I had the dealer install an after market seat that gives you full back support, has a lumbar accessory, reclines back, and has adjustable arm rests.

I think the majority of your complaints are solved on the more expensive models.. you get what you pay for.
