How BAD Is Harry Giles Actually?

Спорт

Back in 2016, Harry Giles was the most SOUGHT after prospect coming out of high school.
He was ranked above NBA all-stars like De’Aaron Fox, Bam Adebayo, and Jayson Tatum….
But fast forward to the present day, things haven't quite panned out the way everyone thought…
Giles was once seen as the most PROMISING young talent in 2016 and was projected to be a top NBA draft pick. But unfortunately, he never came close to living up to his potential…
So what went WRONG for Harry Giles?

How would Harry Giles' career have panned out if he didn't have all of the injury setbacks? Let us know in the comments below👇

Do Trevon Duval or Jaylen hands

damn Trevon Duval, well Coach K forced him out to make room for Tre Jones, Duval want ready for the NBA. He played in the G League for 4 years, Canada for 2, Puerto Rico for 1 and now he’s in Europe. Classic case of one and done who should’ve stayed in school. But he chose Duke.

Jaylen Hands was not a one and done he actually played 2 seasons at UCLA then declared for the NBA, and was actually drafted by the Nets but never signed by them, signing with their G League team. After 1 season he left for Europe. IMO Trevon Duval is the bigger what if than Jaylen Hands. What if Tre Jones never went to Duke, and it was 2nd year PG Duval playing with Zion. 🤔

One of my favorite "What Ifs" there is, at the end of the day, he made the league and is still in it, so that's a success in itself.

As someone who’s from exactly where he’s from, Winston-Salem, NC, and seeing that I used to play basketball with him, everyone in Winston was overly excited for him. It’s sad to know he never really became the player we all knew he could be.

While with the Kings you really saw some flashes and good stretches of him being a solid player. It just seemed like whenever he took a step his body betrayed him. It was never anything as bad as his knee injuries but smaller nagging ones that prevented him from growing.

I lived in the Winston-Salem area and as a kid heard a lot about him. I got to train with him a couple times and he was good but I think it was another case of not having the right people who knew how to manage players bodies to prevent those possible injuries

@@ryansack5198 Im just telling the truth. He got drafted after averaging 3ppg at Duke and has averaged like 5 ppg at the NBA. He can’t stretch the floor, create his own shot, rebound at a high level or defend the rim. Those ACL tears ruined him. He was already done by the time he got to Duke.
