How are MARBLES made? | Maddie Moate

Little correction - "Cobolt" should be spelt "Cobalt" :-)
I went to the House of Marbles in Newton Abbot to catch up with glass-maker Paul and learn how to make my own multi-coloured glass marble!

Thank you for having us!
Great video! Lovely to see marbles still being made by hand too.
Ace video. Always wondered how marbles were made 🙂
Wow this takes me back to my Childhood, I collected so many, goodness knows what happened to them all lol x
@Maddie Moate Hi I watched you since i was a child in lockdown and since i was 5 you made my childhood and made me so interested in so many things thank you.
Love the video ❤ thank you for showing us the process!
Love this, bringing back memories of holiday visits to the glass factory on the Isle of Wight as kids. Minor nit-pick @3:35 should the subtitle read "cobalt" instead of "colbolt"?
maddie is such a lovely soul!

Haven't lost your marbles yet 😉
Hi maddie
When someone has worked the same job longer than you've been _alive!_ And by "you" I do mean you, not me 😅
Matty Love Lillianxx💖💖👏💋🙏 thank you
Hey Maddie 👋
Hi love love 💖💖👏👏💋
Hi
SCIENCE NERD ALERT!!! 🤓 If you don't like pedantic science & math stuff, don't read this. 100 degrees C (the boiling temp of water) = 373.15 Kelvin 1150 degrees C (the temp of the glass furnace) = 1423.15 Kelvin Therefore, in terms of the molecular movement that produces heat energy, the furnace is 3.81 times hotter than boiling water, not 11.5 times.
