How and why I chose Ceramic Coating for my motorbikes (Cat and Fiddle, feat. @NooBiker

Dear Diary, this all starts in 2020 when i first purchased my Sym 125 (Donkey) and after a few weeks I found rust! Since I have tried so many things but they have not worked as I had hoped. This video charts my experiences, trials and tribulations and how and why I arrived at ceramic coating. I hope it is useful and informative. In the end I choose‪@Supremecoat‬ for my treatment and the video outlines my experiences.
Id like to thank ‪@NooBiker‬ and ‪@Pooley650‬ for allowing me to use their logos and an excellent day out so I could record this video. Also a special thanks to youtube megastar ‪@exeterrider‬ for allowing me use of his video and images, and offering me so much advice and support in learning to spray my own bikes over the past 2 years!!
If you are interested in ceramic coating with supremecoat, use the code "Quinnpeaksbiker sent me" for an additional £50 off while the allocation remains!!!! 🥳🥳🥳🥳
Take care, Ride safe and Stay Currious!!!

Thanks for recommending them and doing all that research 👍 A bit weird watching myself riding. I need to have a good word with myself to correct some issues 🤣

Thank you for watching! A bit of along one today! The original was over 40 minutes long so a lot of the research and detailed comparisons went. I hope enough was left to make it appear there was some academic rigor to the whole process. I genuinely believe I found the best within the scope of my study and the last 6 months of use have supported my claims and met my expectations- I will however point out that I continue to apply xcp, firstly as I don't know what else to do with the 5litres I have and secondly as I'm quite clear this is not a perfect solution, there still remains areas that could be vulnerable and I prefer an abundance of caution to reckless abandon as it's my nature! Prevention is better than a cure! (I rather use my funds as petrol money than repair money😜😜) Your lines were good! The road was choppy in places and the weather windy and wet, it was a great day!! Really disappointed i couldn't have a full day with you! Hopefully next time we can make it up!! Thanks again and chat soon!! 😁😁🖖🏼

WOw!! You really did your research! I do use the 'spray on' version here in the States, and have had really really good luck with the water sheeting qualities...and much much easier to keep clean!

Thank you for watching Bob! Here the year round rain, constant cold, salt and gritted roads really destroy bikes. As I live on a farm and in the national park it's really tough weather here in the winter - as I run the bikes (my 125 is a farm bike to get around to do jobs) year round and in the winter the clay soil and constant rain is the bane of my existence!! So spray ons I still use to complement the ceramic coating system but it's taken everything all together to really do what I needed it to do, this winter will be the real test. In my planned future travels around the world I will hopefully get around to one day, I should be best placed to take any weather and condition! It would be interesting to see which products you use there and your experiences. You have a lot more colder weather than here, what would your top tips be? Take care and ride safe Bob ☺️🖖🏼

Interesting topic Mate, luckily here in South Australia, we don't have so many rusting issues. We do have Ceramic coating offered here and it works great, but not cheap. Pleased in worked out for you. Sounds like a great company. Take care 😎

Thanks TPR! It's taken 2 years to find something that works, here between the rain, salt and gritted roads it's a real pain in the backside! We are quite lucky to get it at a good price here. Any product garages are selling please check them against manufacturer specs, a lot of dubious claims being out there, enough to fertilize the Sahara 🤣🤣🤣 take care and ride safe mate 😁🖖🏼

I thought your narration was excellent. This is a very informative video and it's great of you to share your own research into this subject with the world. A long time in the making but the end result made the wait worthwhile. Excellent job Quinn and I'm glad that you are now more relaxed about when and how you use your bikes ! Cheers mate, ER.

Thanks ER!! Really appreciated!!!!! The original was 40mins plus long so I lost a lot of detail and a few funny stories about getting desperate to the point I was trying fairy liquid as it's hydrophobic....not really thinking about what would happen when it started to rain 🤣🤣🤣🤣 let's say you only do it the once🤦🏽🤦🏽😰😰 there was bit of the a38 you can eat your dinner off though at one point 🤣🤣🤣 I was really surprised how many people thought it was genuinely acceptable to claim the miracle cure! I think I ended up at the right place though and it's proved it's worth over the past year, all going well so far, will report back after a year for an update. With all the off roading your doing something might be interesting and worth considering as ceramic coating does NOT protect against stone chips! But there was no attempt to hide that from me so I can better prepare! But take care and ride safe mate 😁🖖🏼 the tranni had a sagging rear and just had some work done, off to take her round the back roads for a quick one and see how dirty she can get now she has protection I can get crazy and let loose 😁😁😇😇🥳🥳🥳

@@quinnpeaksbiker Nooo..... washing up liquids tend to contain salt (like what you put on yer chips or on the road in winter). It's used as a thickening agent. Don't want to be letting them anywhere near your bike.
