Watched about five different videos on the subject, and this one is the most helpful. Thanks.
After spraying all rollers and joints 2-3 times this video finally helped me stop the darn squeaking noise from my garage door. Thanks for the detailed locations of where to put the grease

Agree. One of the top video clips in this category actually uses comedy theatrics ... really annoying. This one is simple, clear & straightforward. 👍👍
I was pretty skeptical but this worked great. Took about 10 minutes to do while following the video. Awesome!
your video did a really good job of showing what parts you were talking about. thanks!
Very good video except I would not use that product it's more of an oil than grease, I just did mine using Blaster White Lithium Grease (any white lithium grease would work) it thicker and sticks to the parts and gets worked in more slowly and doesn't leak down all over your garage and keeps the parts lubricated longer.
just what i was looking for. Thanks for posting! 🚘
Very simple and very helpful! Thank you!
A timely subject and well done too !!

So, let get this straight. What he's saying is that lubricating your garage door once every decade isn't enough. Okay, got it. My poor door. Ha! He did not mention lubricating the running surface of the centre bar, or did I miss that? I think it should be added. Other videos emphasize. Thanks Skelton.

Before and after audio?
Great video, thank you. I have noticed on my track and around rollers black thick grease has leaked out from some where, can you recommend a product that will help to remove this from the track, ty. I looked at Gumout but not sure that would do it.

I use WD-40 to break up and remove grease. Use plenty of rags because it will drip everywhere. If you have a lot of grease in the tracks you may want to lay a tarp (or rags) on the floor to catch the grease. Also, when doing this kind of work, it's wise to use safety glasses. Best of luck to you!

Ok will do and thank you.
Doesn't the oil attract dirt?
What about the drive screw? Or whatever the right name for it is.

Not a bad idea to check and make sure they have safety cables installed too, while your lubing the pulleys.
Lubricate garage door is hardly working well and last short time because the noise source never get addressed well and the oil soon dry out. I doubt not much of them applied actually contributed to noise reduction if not applied to right spots.
music was annoying as fuqq, but the video was great !
I used WD-40 worked just fine , quiet operation now. Thanks
Can I use WD-40 instead of the 3-1?

Regular WD-40 is a de-greaser, so it won't work well here. The WD-40 _brand_ does make a variety of lubricants, the best for garage doors being WD-40 Specialist White Lithium Grease. It is thicker and will coat the parts to keep them moving smoothly.

@@NhatNguyen-xs7kl Just make sure not to spray it onto any plastic or rubber rollers - just onto bearings and pivot points etc

@@NhatNguyen-xs7kl The roller tracks can be cleaned out with an old rag etc, a final wipe over with a rag soaked in mineral spirits is good to give them a good clean. Lithium grease works well for hinges, pivots, bearings etc but just remember that as with all petroleum based products it can harm rubber/silicone/plastics over time.
who downvoted this video? lol wtf???
Why do all you KZread posters feel you need background music? And why does it take you 5 1/2 minutes to provide what is probably 10 seconds of actual information?
