Diedrich Bader is like H Jon Benjamin in that they both play a thousand characters, have extremely distinctive voices, and somehow still find a way to make themselves sound differently in different VO roles

I love hearing Bader in the Harley Quinn series. It's such a unique take on Batman in a hilarious show

He is the Silver Age voice of Batman for me, I love it so much. Diedrich Bader has such an incredible voice to him, wild that he never thought of it in the early days, but I'm glad he found his way into it!

I use his voice when it comes to late Silver Age-Bronze Age Batman as I think those eras are the best reflection of Brave and the Bold.

Oh thank god someone else remembers Danger Theatre. It's a shame it only lasted a handful of episodes. That was my first exposure to Diedrich, followed by his appearance on the Drew Carey Show.

Hoss Delgado is a character that will forever be imprinted on my mind, he's just so much fun. It's nice to learn about the man behind the chiseled cartoon face!

He's essentially "funny Batman" to me. Brave and the Bold is lighthearted and Harley Quinn is raunchy, he's hilarious in both while still maintaining the Batman vibe.

It's very rare to see one voice actor not only play Batman twice in two different continuities but also Lex Luthor

Diedrich Bader is an underrated treasure, he's been in everything! I first knew him as Oswald from The Drew Carey Show and Jethro from Beverly Hillbillies. When Zeta started I was at the age where I was starting to pay attention to actors' names in the credits, so I remember being blown away when I realised that Zee was played by Oswald, since I was obsessed with Drew Carey at the time. I had no idea he was such a well-trained actor though. He seems like a genuinely nice guy too.

There is nothing wrong with admitting you were in love with Storm as a kid, Diedrich Bader It allowed you to grow up to be ZETA! oh and I guess Batman too but who cares ZETA!

I feel like he’s too associated with more humorous and lighthearted takes on Batman. I’d personally go for Jensen Ackles. He sounded like Conroy while bringing his own thing to it.

@@katrose5179 How about Roger Craig Smith, who voiced Batman in Arkham Origins. People say he's sounds like Conroy's Batman in the BTAS days but harsher and angrier.

His role in Evil Alien Conquerors was hilarious. He and Chris Parnell killed it, lol.

He's a close second to Kevin Conroy in my own opinion as Batman.

Jesus! I know I had seen this guy turn up a few times before, and always gave a memorable performance, but I had no idea he played or voiced some of these characters. I'm adding Diedrich Bader to my list of god tier voice actors.

Such an impressive career. Loving this month.

I came to know Bader as Oswald in The DCS, it was a surpise and a bit disconcerting to begint to recognize him in cartoons, cus I didn't know him as a VA. After watching this vid and re-encountering him again and again in animation I realized this man was forreal and deserves his spotlight in the industry. Love how he's become a staple ih the Batman mythos and look forward to more.

Dietrich is a great actor and voice actor he is versatile in his career and being born in the city he went to college in has been really cool to me and I have been a fan of his since I first saw the drew Carey show in one of its first runs in syndication then watching the newer stuff on abc the first experience with Batman was probably on the drew Carey show when drew wins a contest and is offered a cash prize or the batmobile and he takes the batmobile and in the course of the episode steal the car from drew and when the police find it and return it to him they show him who did it and it’s Lewis and Oswald dressed ad Adam west and Burt ward version of Batman and robin

I remember him from The Drew Carey Show and Office Space, always wondered why I didn't see more of him... I've been hearing him for decades apparently though.

He nailed silver age batman. Doesn't get enough love for his time as batman. I'd put him in my top favorite for sure.

I have liked Bader since I first saw him on the Drew Carey show. With his distinctive voice, it's easy to follow him, although Bat-Dad did take me by surprise!

And also The Star ,Drew Carey when me and friend met him ,he was not at least cordial, and it hurt friend cause he was a big fan of Drew Carey, and I liked the show myself. But how he treated me and my friend kinda soured me on that show. If you want to simp for an also-ran 90's sitcom , hey it's your channel. And I won't patronize it anymore. So later

I’m just very tired of seeing “Kevin Conroy replacement” style comments lately. There are tons of talented voice actors, even other ones who have played Batman. We just don’t need to think of anyone as taking over, replacing, etc. They can do their own thing, and often very well. No hate from us, just getting old.

But wanted to say to you after reading this interaction, don't take things so personally. People can be annoyed or fed up without it being a remark about you. This goes both for Drew Carey and this KZreadr (first time here, don't know this channel well sorry) Also celebrities are never fun to meet because they are well known and get it a lot. It sounds like an awful job. One which Deidrich seems to have found a great balance within. Never knew he was so prolific.
