And if you connect the "Transformers"/Solenoids to an audio signal, you will have sound in your fish tank. your Fidelity may vary :-)

So where does it get fresh air from if it's a sealed unit?

This is Cynthia from the Hong Kong Baptist University, Visual Arts department student. I would like to ask if the air pump is controlled by vibration, does that mean that I can program sound vibration from a dialogue or a song and control the air release of the pump? so that the bubble release in water will follow the rhythm of the soundtrack?

+TheCynthiaCT That is a very good idea. It would work for sure. Cheers :)

Yes. In fact, as long as the coils that are connected are over a 8 ohm load, you should not have any problem doing this. Some amps can do a 4 or 2 ohm load, but as long as the amp does not go into protect, it should work. Most car amps can do a 1 ohm load no problem, so try that. This will work best with bass frequencies, so a sub amp would work perfect. you're going to need quite a bit of output as a 60 hertz signal is at about 120 volts and Peak to Peak that's about 230 volts of output roughly. You can use a 70v audio transformer to get the desired voltage output from your amp. Or you could just build something with a Pie, and then use some Electronics to drive it. an easier way would be just to get a speaker that has a high X Max and then use a one-way check valve and that should get you the desire bubbles effect that you are seeking. it's a little more complicated than that but basically it would work.

Your video camera focuses and focuses out blurring the video. Good explanation though, just annoying how it blurs in and out.

+Vikki Holland Google "sound damping,".
Is it dangerous to fill in the air hole ?
Excellent demo. I will try to get you some views.
why is the video so blurry and out of focus?
what to do oxygen machine even not vibrating ????
The pot regulate the amplitude, not the speed...
it bluring. out of focus.
