The reasons are in a new video she is seen sitting on the floor and holding up a sign saying she is cancer free, in another video she repeatedly states how much she loves attention and will do anything to get it. Also odd, she just so happens to be now a “miracle” because she beat cancer.

I don't pay enough attention to Access to know him, but I was really impressed with this interview. He was so respectful and listened to what she was saying. And never once did the interview become "silly".

Genuine talent but a tremendously compassionate interviewer as well. Both are impressive!

I’m SO glad he asked the question on why no one was at the AGT audition with her! It really bothered me that she was alone…although I knew who was there with her 😉

She is a straight angel. Such a beautiful amazing human being.

"It felt like I wasn't the only one up there. It felt like I was standing there with hundreds of thousands of cancer survivors all over the World. I was standing there with thousands of abuse survivors all over the World. Like I was standing there in place of people who did pass away from cancer and didn't have no chance."

Fighting 8.5 years, terminal, 5 diagnosis, surgeries, treatments etc etc etc, hearing "It's important that everyone knows that I'm so much more than the bad things that happened to me." rings so loud! Another fighter once told me, "I may have cancer, but cancer doesn't have me." Words. All words. Absolutely love this. and..... "It's Okay" Thank You.

Fantastic interview! Scott Evans, whom I have never seen interview anyone before (because I don't watch Access Hollywood that often), did a brilliant job of getting right in there with Nightbirde in a very authentic, kind, respectful, and intimate way. The dynamic between the two of them was simultaneously very real and upbeat, full of appreciation, creating a revealing interview of this luminous, tremendously talented, skilled singer-songwriter. I love that she is honest enough with herself that she knows whether she's performed well or not so well. No false humility; just straight-up truth-telling. I wish her the very best life, and many years on this planet to live and share her wisdom and creativity with the world.

I lost my 4-year-old nephew to cancer last year and it shook my faith so much. This song (and message) reignited my faith again.

She is just so precious. So powerful in so many ways. Sad we will not have more of her here on earth. She was just getting warmed up...RIP

I'm 50 and this young woman has shown me the same positivity I tried to live when I went through cancer. She shows the impact that a positive attitude can have on those around her. I am amazed by her courage and her strength and she has been through far far far more than I went through when I was diagnosed and fighting it. So, kudoes to you, Nightbirde, you are an inspiration.

I love this interview. The interviewer was relaxed and genuine and asked the right questions. All of these made Nightbirde at ease and answered them much better than other interviews I’ve watched.

I live in Ohio. 30yrs ago lost my 27yrold husband to cancer. 9months from diagnosis to burying him. Her story hit me so hard. Sorry her husband was weak I never left my husband side. I hope she is still here to possibly walk away with the win. No matter what happens she's already a winner.

I'm from Ohio myself. As the survivors of those we've lost this way, we have to try to be worthy of the privilege of life, no? I couldn't watch the entire interview because the memories are just too painful, but I do know what you went through. We're members of a club nobody wants to ever join. As my uncle died, I was there every day, and he asked me how I could be there so easily. I said, "I don't know how *not* to be here." You loved your husband. That simple.

They divorced 2 weeks after the diagnosis, things were obviously headed towards a brake up before the cancer. It would have only been out of pity if he stayed.

It’s sad to hear, her husband divorcing her during the trying times in her life. The time she needs him the most. That shows that his love wasn’t genuine at all. It’s his loss not yours night birde. Keep shining and keep radiating the positivity to this world 🙏💕🎊

So very well said. I was stage 3. Life after has been very hard: the side effects and poverty. I had no money for fresh food and my low white blood cells went to low neutrophils in February. To have good finances makes a big difference.

Incredible - she even spoke up for those who are living through toxic abusive relationships. Jane you are sparking a flame within people- reminding them they are priceless and worthwhile. Life is too valuable to allow those things in our lives.

This is a great interview. It’s so rare to see an interviewer care and listen to the responses and to have this type of personal connection. And she is such a beautiful human for learning to thrive under such hardship

It's hard to believe, I remember her as a baby when she and her family lived across the street from me and my family, to see what she has gone through and who she has become. Wish I could meet her in person one more time just to give her a hug and to remind her that God will always be holding her hand.

No sadly I wasn't very close with her as she was a baby and I was 6-7 years old but i did know one of her brothers that was in my class. They are a very christian family and her dad is or was a lawyer in Zanesville but they moved out of the neighborhood like we did because it was going down hill fast with drugs and trash.

Bcoz he actually listens to his interviewee and maybe internalizes what they say, so he has an understanding of their situation and their personality... That's the best quality of an interviewer, in my opinion

Nightbirde was the most inspiring person I heard in several years. A nice change from all the scoundrel, corrupt, lying politicians who are destroying our country. We need more people like Jane, who has a positive attitude, and doesn't wait for hard times to end to be happy. I'm sorry that her life was cut short, but I believe she has left a beautiful legacy.

She is transmuting the negative life experience into a positive life experience. 💗

I shed a tear when i saw her audition. She is my inspiration now as i am also suffering from so many pains, and it made me think, her pains might be a hundredfold painful than mine but she can smile from it and still fighting. Goodluck to you, nightbird. I'll be praying for your complete healing.

I have severe epilepsy that is intractable meaning no medications will help. I have fallen so many times and have had skull fractures, bleeding on the brain, scar tissue on my temporal lobe which is causing me to lose my speech and fine motor skills. My brain doesn't want to cooperate with my body. I know that's going to be what takes me. I have children and grandchildren and I have to keep going. Terrified or not. She helped me so very much ❤️. I have broken down and balled my eyes out because of her song. She is so encouraging and she is a beautiful soul. Praying for her to fight and beat the cancer. Thank you nightbirde for this amazing song.❤️

Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” This honestly is all I could think of watching this. The courage she has makes me so motivated and brings me to God. He’s watching over you and I will pray as well as my family and friends for you!❤️
