I don't think anyone from earth could say something as beautiful as this, that's why I truly believe that she was an Angel here on Earth😢🙏💕

My Mother dropped onto the bathroom floor. I saw her for the last time, just before. Her body filled with cancer, soul with faith, She died as she had lived, with love and grace. With fingers scarred and knurled from serving all, She toiled and scolded, fought for, hugged us all. A tiny woman full of pent up will, Though dead, She yet prays for all of us, still. I hear her high soprano singing fair, Her gentle chuckle as she brushes hair. I listen to her tell me not to swear, And when I talk to her, She's always there. I love you, Mom. Jed Shirts 5/11/2022

On one of the anniversaries of my boss' loss of his 7-year-old daughter to leukemia, he told me he spent the night on the bathroom floor. God is on the bathroom floor and He is with us in our sorrow and our pain and our fear. He brings love and hope and mercy bread each day. Thank you for that most powerful message. That was an excellant way of putting Nightbirde on a pedestal! So true about Her and I believe thats why God needed Her like He put His son Jesus Christ on the Earth at a time when, like Us today, the World was spiraling out of control. Jesus preached, healed and brought People together to realize there is HOPE just have to have FAITH. Jesus suffered just like Nightbirde but look at His work and Nightbirde work! People have commented how Nightbirde gave Them a new lease on Life like Jesus did. I dont remember age of Jesus but I believe like Nightbirde was 32. How ironic 💕🙏💕

My prayer is that she now understands God did not do this, God did not judge her, there is no such thing as a God of fear, wrath or vengeance. That American defined God is of the past. However, if Jane chose then possibly she found strength in the end through her God. Jane is now all knowing, all Love and free from pain. She is with those she loves. She has not deserted her family, friends or those seeking inspiration. She loves all and continues. Jane is not just gone

God said “I’m sad too.” Favorite part. She could feel that love along with the angst of decay. Both are true. But, I believe love, in the end, always wins. She encountered God on that bathroom floor.

Every year on the anniversary in February, for the past 7 years, God has blessed me in some way to honor my son’s Birth and Death month. I received my call on February 19th 2015, That my boy was in the emergency room, and it was serious. It was the day my son Overdosed. By Saturday the 21st they would pronounce him brain dead. My story is a faith story. But for now, I wanted to honor Jane by sharing, I’ll never forget her day of going home to Jesus. She now is in My Month of Love February. Ironically our 7th Anniversary.💕

And that's how a lot of Christians like me feel sometimes with a lot of faith, but at the same time with a lot of doubts, questions and anger. RIP our little nigthbirde.

As someone who is battling metastatic breast cancer you never lost your battle. Cancer did not win...you did. You are one of my angels now.

Her words come from an endless well of living water. They are incredible. They will minister to others...they have ministered to me. Thank you.

We ALL die, but precious few of us leave such a lasting legacy as Jane has. I trust that she is now relishing a beautiful world without pain, and no bathroom floors. 💜

God is beside you Nightbirde. He is not doing this to you, God is not capable of any evil-and what your going through is evil and comes from another source. God is allowing it just as He did with Job. And Job was/is His friend. As you are, and He is drawing you to Him or you would have cursed Him to His face and abandoned Him, a long time ago. But you have never left Him. Remember the story of Job , Nightbirde ,and know your God is always with you!! We are always being tested, but it is not coming from God! God is the one who carries us through these horrific times and He has a future in store for everyone loving Him we can only dream about!! I pity the man who could actually say he didn't love this beautiful soul anymore.

What people need to understand is that God sometimes allow things to happen I believe to show the world that he does exist. Nightbirde is in such a better place. I would love to be where she is today. She’s with God. In some ways she is lucky because she didn’t have to be on this cruel Satan infested world any longer. She is in paradise and no longer in pain. She was young when she was taken. She didn’t have to feel the part of getting old before dying on earth. God spread a message of His love thru her. She accepted Jesus and baptized before she died. She left a message to us all. There is no telling how many will come to God thru the life and trials of this great singer. I can’t wait to be with God. I have the same faith as she did. I have had it a while now. Goodbye Nightbirde from this world and I will see you at His Marriage Supper of the Lamb to honor Jesus in Heaven for His sacrifice on the cross. Our time is really getting short on Earth. It’s easy to see it. Just look at the world today.

I truly believe that God has a purpose for everything that happens. I believe that if Nightbirde had not gone through so much in her short life, she would not have touched so many hearts around the globe. If she had been given an "ordinary" life, would she have become a contestant on America's Got Talent? God had a message for the world to hear, and He chose this beautiful and strong woman to be His messenger. Her strength and courage are an inspiration to millions of people the world over. I for one will never forget her!

My mother was dealing with cancer during the same time she was. My mom died Feb 21, 2022. Cindy Spotton Aleknavicius. Another amazing soul who died the day before Nightbirde. I hope they met in heaven.

Just wow! I don’t think we can ever know God completely, but suffering can bring us so close… we have to NEED Him to find Him!! This woman has inspired me with her faith and indomitable spirit! I look forward to meeting her in Heaven!

I so enjoyed this reading by Darrin Reed Cowan. I'm not a poetry buff by any stretch but I find this "statement" or "declaration", rather than poem just incredible. How CAN anyone write something so apt, moving and honest, that really applies to everyone NOT just Nightbirde? I'm sure she knew or felt that. She really did seem to be switched on to every thing around her though the things that stood out more than anything to me was, her fearlessness and the fact that she was able to speak so matter-of-factly about death, she really was sincere and so humble when speaking of things that had happened, how things had turned out for her yet she was NOT at all angry or bitter towards people or events. SHE was like someone who was somehow put on this earth to help others, to placate people, to lift their moods when they were beaten and down and she was absolutely SO UPBEAT, so positive about everyone and thing. I feel personally (and I'm sure that some will mock) as if she served her time here with us and that God decided she had done as much as possible to help people, individuals, whoever, and called her back to be with him. I'm so sure she is "resting" and at peace where she is. I feel more than priveleged to have met her through the videos.

She was a special treat for anyone who has the pleasure of hearing her, either by her talking or by listening to her angelic voice singing. The most interesting person to just sit n listen to talk. A huge ray of sunshine! So Thankful to God, for the time he DID give us with her and to be able to hear her stories, poem’s, and songs. Whenever I’m having a bad day with my depression and anxiety, I have been listening to her song’s, interviews n just breathe, thinking of how many people she has impacted and to continue to reach people who need her in their lives. She’s up there with God n enchanting all of the other’s who’ve gone before us. That make’s me smile. I will carry a special place in my 💜 for her, with nothing but THANKS for allowing us into her world and giving us so much strength and courage, whenever we need it most. 🙏🏻🥰💜❤️💕👆

Such a brave and beautiful girl, I love how before she starts singing she steps back and looks to the heavens and raises her arms as if she is a bird, she had such a beautiful glow about her, so positive in the face of such adversity she was given a 2 percent chance of living and with a smile on her face she said you have not idea how special that is, its not 0 percent. Everything that came from her was positive " I don't want the bad things that happen to me define who I am and don't wait for the hard times to pass before you decide to be happy. Tears streaming down for the wonderful soul she was! She was meant to share with the world and that she did! Like Nightbirde, through my cancer journey, I experienced a pain that I felt NO ONE should ever experience in life!!! I could only explain it to the docs that it was the kind of pain that would make one suicidal, and I've experienced some excruciating pain in my life! No drug would relieve the pain and the only thing I could do was to call out to the Lord for 3 whole days and pray for relief and for Him to give me the ability to "endure" the pain, all while bedbound. I've always believed that with God, there's nothing we can't bear, so if no relief was in sight, I prayed for endurance and thats when my pain began to ease up. Like Nightbirde, I do believe that through the worst of times and troubles and when we question Him why, there's a "lesson" and "reason", even if we don't always understand it, rather initially or ever. Thank you Nightbirde and thank you Lord for the gift of her. ❤ Rest on! 🙏🏾

The first time i met her was through this poem. I was impressed and in love and i could painfully relate. Months later i discovered through my mom that she was a singer that auditioned for AGT. She was successful and paved the way for many. I found out she had passed a while back. I was bewildered and aghast - feeling like her life was cut short. She had more to offer. She had only just begun. But today i feel like maybe she was due by God. Her purpose to us may have seemed unfinished, but perhaps to Him it was done and dusted. She lived such a short life yet did a lot of amazing things. She was a dynamite. A legend. She lives on. With her maker. With Jesus Christ her Lord and savior.

Nightbirde left such a beautiful Legacy. This Poem is unbelievable. So much RAW Emotion. So much Love for The Lord. Even though she did not receive the healing this side of Heaven that she hoped for, that we hoped along with her-for her, she knew that just as He made provision for The Children of Israel in the Wilderness, He made Provision for Nightbirde even through the Cancer and Treatment, giving her inspiring Poetry and Musicthat will remain with us forever. Oh Lord you took her so young that your name be glorified. She was your gift to the unbelievers, those caught on the fence, those who you God are married to, the backslider. The confused those in pain those that have no hope and to those that believe, that out of a young voice you took so soon, her real relationship with you the Almighty Loving God ! Uncontested !!

Who wouldn’t cry to such a wonderful prayer poem, we complain about little things and her knowing her life was coming to end stayed positive and believe in the Lord. We become bigger and hateful and resentful against Gos when we are told we are going to die her this beautiful souls decided to take a different approach. She used her suffering and turned into a positive attitude and I hope people would learn from her . Rest In Peace and I know you are in heavens🙏✝️🕊
