44% from 3 on 9 attempts per game is crazy. 12 assist is also crazy. But how about all that while averaging 27 pts per game.. he’s my mvp so far

Great video bro! One of the absolute best feel-good stories of the NBA right now. One of the most underdog stories of the NBA we’ve seen in years representing a small market team that seems like a match made in heaven and he’s absolutely exploding. You can’t not love Tyrese!

I watched all of his games in the 1.5 years at Iowa State and you could tell INSTANTLY that he had freakish wingspan and insane elite court vision. He set the school record for assists in like his 7th game as a freshman which is crazy because Jamaal Tinsley won the Big 12 twice straight and Big 12 POTY as a playground wizard passing himself.

Lamelo is good, but the Hornets are not. They are currently 13th in the east. The Pacers are currently 5th. The East has good guards. The Celtics have Jrue, and the Bucks have Dame. The 76ers have Maxey, who is young, so I could see him battling Haliburton for years to come.

Tyrese is efficiency epitomized. His +/- ratio per 100 possessions has been positive every year he's been in the league and it gets better every year, currently +19. Lamelo's same +/- has been negative every year he's been in the league and he's regressed to a current -9. Winning teams don't have rivalries with losing teams.

Definitely the best PG in the league… but I prefer pure PGs… like when everybody liked D Rose, steph, or Russ I always considered John wall the best PG in the league or pure PG.. would consider the other guys more of a combo guard being more focused on scoring 🤷🏽‍♂️ love that Hali does it all and crazy efficiently 💪🔥 wasn’t sure his jumper and scoring would translate so well as quickly as it has… and definitely didn’t expect the playmaking and assists to be this good at all.. thought he’d be like a 6-8 assist per game type of player or get switched to SG if he stayed in SAC and play more off ball

He's a tier below superstar. Superstars must at least have a Championship or a memorable deep playoff run. Right now, Luka/Giannis/LeBron/KD/Steph/Tatum are in that echelon. Haliburton is for sure a franchise cornerstone, nonetheless. His time may come, but I'm not necessarily expecting it. In theory, I'd think of him as a high end complimentary player on a Championship caliber team, not the engine (Number One option) on a Championship caliber team.

@@psmith669 They're a star caliber player away from being a perennial Finals contender. I think that star player, whether they already have that player on their roster or not, will have to be better than Haliburton to win a Championship. Hard to win in this league w/ your PG as your best player. Stephen Curry, Isiah Thomas were the anomalies. & Even Steph could be taken out of that conversation because he's more of a Combo Guard than he is a PG.
