1974, due to sanctions on India, the uranium power plants stopped/ failed. We lost 20 yrs. Throughout India the govt of India displaced our people for building dams and for industrial purpose. In the initial period it was with no proper compensation. Its the sacrifices of those silent sufferers that we see a developed India. In this case they were even offered at par with corporate buyouts. Not to forget minerals are the asset of any country. I am a second generation of such displaced unpaid sacrificial Indian. On the other side, to syphon off govt exchequer modern day politicians buy out such land ( to be reserved land) and walk away with millions. The vadra case is one such.
