This guy is a dope. The magnetic ball is NOT a ball with "a magnet built into one side of it" as he stated. The ENTIRE cue ball is EVENLY magnetic. The BALL RETURN has "a magnet built along one side of it, which pulls the homogeneously magnetic cue ball out of the ball return track and drops it into the cue ball return track. The Aluminum bar at that point in the ball return track is so that the old oversize cue ball will get diverted to the cue ball track as well.

You check the slates from a PILE of slates. Bad move. the entire pile can sag. Each slate to be used should be placed on a flat slab called a granite surface plate a half a foot thick that machine shops use.

Wrong! A "regulation table" starts at 4' x 8'. So NO 3 1/2 ' x 7' table is regulation. The two square form factor is NOT the defining element. ALL pool tables are "twice as long as it is wide". That is NOT the defining element. It starts at 4' x 8' PERIOD, and that and the pocket opening geometry and rail nose height are the defining elements.

What should the pocket opening geometry be and rail nose height be? I know valley tables have bigger pockets than "traditional pool tables".
