I have a 5 qt Lodge Dutch oven that I actually found sitting on a compactor at a mall that I used to work overnight security at. A tenant in the food court decided to just throw it out instead of cleaning it (lots of burnt food on the bottom) & taking it to wherever they were moving to, as that particular mall was in the process of being closed down & sold. I immediately grabbed it, inspected it for damage, and then took it home, gave it a good cleaning & then reseasoned it. I've had it for 5 years & still enjoy using it. I generally use it only once a year when I make Corned Beef & Cabbage for St. Patrick's Day, but boy does it work great!

not easy to make, but once bought one can wear (and tear) it for life... i remember many a night when i was teen it save my life sleeping off drunkenness and rolling over god knows what from gravel to glass, also you can sit anywhere, just put your jacket down and you have a comfy cushion... and it can be worn all year around, even in summer nights... ah those were the days...

As they were fixing me i told him I have to take the hardware to the car he said to me don't worry about the hardware i will fix you with both shoulder holsters on he said and he did. . . Those guys that buff and polish those knives work absolute wonders. I had a Buck 110 that I abused as a child that got very deep scratches in the blade. I sent it to the Buck repair center, told them to buff the scratches out of it, and they made that knife look like it was brand new. And the best part is it only costed me $15 including shipping.

I ve had several peugeot pepper mills. But most of them are not very good at grinding. You have to grind grind grind grind, and there is barely pepper coming out. Doesn't matter how you change the size. I expect to pepper a whole steak surface with 3-4 turns. Not like 30-40. The thing is, some do very well their job. So, it's a 50/50 to get a good one.

Alcohol and cigarettes addiction actually destroyed my life. I could remember several years ago after divorce with my husband which brought me into my disastrous journey on Alcohol and cigarettes. I was horrifically depressed since childhood. It was relentless. I assumed it would ultimately end me somehow. About twelve years ago I randomly accepted the offer from a friend of a few doses of mushrooms. I did them two consecutive nights alone. First night was pretty mild. The second night? Wow. I saw my depression from every angle, realized much. Next day: depression totally gone. Never came back, never coming back. It's like it's a forest far away I can remember, and could probably find again with enough effort, but it has zero impact on anything in my life or mind. They honestly saved my life and improved it immensely. I never did them again, either. I wish there was a good, organized way to administer them to people who would benefit from them.

I have owned and bought Canada Goose Parkas since they came on the market. I bought a red or dark grey one. I live in upstate NY in the Mountains. These parkas are the best. You buy quality, and you'll be warm for years. I visited friends in Canada when the weather was below minus 40 C. I wasn't cold, except for my legs since I did not wear thick, long undies.

I was in field service for 40 years and for 3/4 of that I used Pelican to transport tools. They were shipped by air, FedEx, UPS and several local freight lines through out the Rocky Mountain region as well as to support fellow engineers across the nation. Almost forgot the 30000 miles a year in a company vehicle. The only issue I ever had was wearing out the wheels (3 sets total) and never had an issue getting them replaced by the manufacturer. IMHO Pelican is a go to product that can do the job.
