yeah, the nerf is horrid, even though it's labeled as "rework", spy isn't supposed to be easy to play with, if u want easy, go play demo or soldier

@@ByMorraDiabo not because of the rework, that technically made it better. The knife is and has always been useless outside of pubs because the upside is destroyed simply by typing "Spy as me".

yep, might do another spycicle video soon due to the mis-information in this video... paranoia is real...

It's videos like this, that I miss the old Saharan set. The Saharan set made decloaks much quieter if you had on the Fez with a YER and a L'etranger... But you also had to be wearing the Familiar Fez. It was a good move to do away with the skills being linked to hats as that only promotes a P2W situation... but playing the set with a dead ringer kept people on their toes as the ringer was much quieter even tho you lacked the killing power with the l'etranger or the disguise kit because of the YER. The Saharan set is still fun and able to be used with an Invis watch to much the same effect... but its just not the same without the quieter ringer :)

Set was OP though. You couldn't hear it *ever.* I've got headphones, sound up, and I'm the paranoid swivel-headed type of player that always has my ears on, and there was just no way to check for Saharan spies that didn't involve *constantly* turning around or going Quake-pro mode 360 degree FOV....

I miss when Spycicle was a silent kill, and the only evidence was the sculpture you left behind. Felt pretty balanced to me, if the enemy saw a bunch of ice statues they knew something was up.

Yeah. I feel like if one of knifes needs a buff it has to be the Eternal Reward(or wanga prick). The Eternal Reward is supposed to make believable desguises. But it doesn't seem to work very well. Something i would love for it to do is: Copy the abilities of the person you stabbed. - Stabbing a scout gives you his speed. -Stabbing a medic will give you a lil self-heal Theres probably other types of stuff that could be done, like: - 10% resistance to all damage while desguised (doesn't stack with the 20% resistance of the invisiblity.) These are really just of the many possible ways to make the Eternal Reward more viable.

Hey Mr. P. so I am pretty new to TF2, I picked it up a year ago and absolutely loved the game playing it on and off since then, but I have always liked the spy and wanted to get better (I stink), and I wanted to tell you that your videos have made me a way better spy. While your point may have been to talk about the YER, your 3 don'ts (don't... be seen, be heard, be caught) in this video have helped me to better my understanding of the spy class. As silly or as simple as that sounds. So thank you for still making these videos :D. Also your Number Crunching video was amazingly helpful too.

Woke up and saw a new video, got excited on how I could further my sneaky french man talents, then saw the name from my phone saying "...[Your Eternal Wang..." because it cut the rest off. Made my day, and good day to you.

Make sure your mind is at peace when playing spy and sniper. I recommend some jasmine tea at a just right temperature to drink, hot enough to calm you, but cool enough for it not to be Mustafar lava.

Strangely enough, I feel more secure with the Disguise Kit, but I really like the trait of the YER of being to essentially replace the person you stabbed with yourself.

To a spy-main to a other, thank you mate for teaching me to do; trickstabs, cloak masking, probably even soft reads. You're so amazing in my eyes, dont stop ;)

What do y'all think of a new Spy watch? Maybe with these stats: Smoke Bomb Upon cloaking the point where you were standing before you cloaked emits a loud *POW hssss* noise, with a cloud of white smoke that lingers for 5 seconds. You are fully invisible for up to 7 seconds and have a silent decloak. 20% armor and shimmers if bumped or shot. Can only activate it when charge is full. +40% cloak recharge rate So sort of like the Dead Ringer in reverse. Instead of emitting a loud noise upon decloaking, it instead makes a loud noise upon cloaking, so cloaking when anyone is in earshot will instantly put anyone on high alert for a Spy to appear (just count to 7, turn around). Do y'all think this would be a balanced/fun addition to the game?

102+ the 18 from the previous shot ... if I do damage fast enough my hud stacks the damage, this helps especially on weapons like a flame thrower that does many small pips.

You've helped a lot with my spy game, and now it's actually a class I enjoy playing! But I've gotta say; I don't know how you get away with some of that stuff. I've been implementing very similar tactics I see you do in your videos, and while I am very grateful of having it for a learning experience, I usually pay the price for it. You stabbed their team SOOO many times and half of them refuse to turn around XD Aw well, thanks again for the vids. Keep up the good sneaks

The Dead Ringer makes it easier to not get caught, but harder to not be seen and heard. The Cloak & Dagger makes it easier to not be seen, but harder to not be heard or caught. The stock invis watch lets you avoid being seen, heard, and caught, though not to the degrees the other two watches do. Imagine a watch that muffles the sounds you produce rather than granting you invisibility.

Something that the Your Eternal Reward is really good for, which Sir Stanger mentioned in a video a little while ago, is that it's a really good knife to practice Spy with.

My current favorite knife is the spycicle. I like the little heart attack an enemy has when they notice a statue just standing there. It gets them on edge and afraid. I can abuse this and go in for a kill. It's even better if they in a fight because I most likely using the cloak and dagger because the sounds of chaos can mask my decloak. And there was a time where I could use the YER effectively it was really fun.

Finally a yer video; my favourite knife. I prefer to use it with the invis watch and DB, saving up crit shots when needed to take down tricky targets. It may not be the most reliable knife but it sure feels rewarding to use.

I'm glad the your eternal reward/wanga prick isn't totally silent. If you listen you can hear the stabs, which has saved me before in payload games when a spy think he can stab everyone on the cart and get away with it.
