How a small Essex town on the edge of London is being transformed into a foreign district

Debden is one of those stops near the end of the Central line. Twenty-five years ago it was an unremarkable English town. It is now almost unrecognisable.

@@quaid667 They protest by moving out . White flight. Now the only indigenous whites left are either the elderly or what one would term unkindly 'white losers' who don't have the wherewithal or guile to move out. There was a protest at the beginning in Sandwell in the 60s . But the Labour government as it then was wouldn't support the locals who expected they would be by Mps. Malcolm X even visited the street. It was famous and there was a famous saying coined by the Tory MP who later became member for Portsmouth.

The video i watched spoke of far east not having the human resources so they will be most affected when it happens. Russia are inviting africans to russia now.

Braintree was a lovely tradition market town up until around 2012, then I started to notice the changes. After 2015 it became unrecognisable. New people with incompatible cultures arrived on mass, filling up the many new lego towns that popped up on the surrounding countryside. Regular shops closed and have been replaced with nail bars, vape shops, sweet shops, phone shops and ofcourse....the barbers. To watch the state sponsored destruction happen so quickly can't be put into words as YT won't allow me to express myself.

I was just reading an article this morning about Parnell street on the north side of Dublin, which has been full of foreigners since nearly the beginning of our multicultural experiment in the late 1990s. Over and over again you see people quoted in the article that it's easier for them to fit in when the area is "more diverse". Surely by that logic it's easier for natives to fit in when it's less diverse. If it's socially acceptable for foreigners to express a desire to see more of their own kind it should be socially acceptable for us to express the opposing desire. Either all peoples have legitimate group interests or none do.

From the other end I heard "White UK"! I said "Pardon? So I'm not even British anymore?". I went on to say "If the Scots are Scottish, and the Welsh can call themselves Welsh, then I'm English!". Fault lies with the boomer generation. The time to easily stop this via voting was between 1950-1980. But the majority of the voting public were too easily persuaded and too electorally illiterate to consider voting for an alternative to the Lib/Lab/Con cabal in elections due to the influence/brainwashing of the MSM. I suppose this is was a hangover from Britain being a high trust society and having a misguided faith in the authorities. There is no electoral solution now, its too late. Its gone way past that. Look at the members of most local councils - its frightening. Same trends are now starting to show in Parliament.

I lived for a while in Bilbao, Spain, where the national language is Castellano (Spanish) but is also part of the Basque region where the language is Euskara. If everyone within earshot does not understand Euskara then it was considered extremely rude, socially unacceptable, to continue in Euskara and the conversation would continue in Castellano. It is very difficult to understand why this is not the case in the UK, after all everyone knows what the national language is.

Many of the people living on the Debden estate had been moved there from PreFab estates, that were temporary housing settlements which were built to provide shelter for those who had been bombed out of London's slums. I moved to a nice Essex town fifteen years ago, but I will have to move soon because I am being squeezed by diversity again.

Who is responsible? Successive British governments, and ultimately the electorate for voting them in .. or not bothering to vote at all in many cases. You don't need conspiracies to explain this, the answer is in plain sight. Too few of the population care enough to force the political class to change. Unlike in say Hungary, who are doing something to hold back the tide.

Oh, I can answer your question about Hungary! In my tiny town 30 minutes from the capital, there are I think four Englishmen who, like myself, married lovely lovely Hungarian women. My children are fluent in English and Hungarian because we speak both languages at home. (They also speak French and German because the education system here is not watered-down like in England). I have always been very self-conscious speaking English loudly, but my neighbours are lovely and have shown nothing but kindness. Where our little town suddenly half-full of foreigners, though, I would be speaking nothing but Hungarian in the garden!

In 1966 My family moved from Brixton to Haverhill ,a new town in Suffolk. I was 15 at the time. My mum developed cancer and in 1970 we moved back to London so she could be near our extended family. I kept ties with friends in Haverhill and used to hitchhike up to haverhill all the time. I would Take the tube to Epping and then get on the A12 to the "four went ways" roundabout just before Cambridge. for the turn off to haverhill. I remember the longish walk from Epping tube station to the A12 and I have memories of how different it was from South London, ie no black people. I dread to think of what it is like now.

Yes I live in a Getto. Very few U.K. Christians live here. Bought this house 45 years ago and it was quiet and beautifully kept. Now you have to fight your way down the pavements dodging old settees, oven and washers ….. What a s…… hole it has become now. Bins left out all week on the pavements, stinking and filthy. The rubbish on the sides of the road. You see folk just chucking empty bottles and packets. Walk out of shops unwrapping cigs and dropping the paper on the floor. The local shops are open til all hours and are just littered all around. The people now here have cost me hundreds of thousands in loss of house value. Who would want to live here. Angry and disappointed doesn’t cover it ……

I feel like King Canute in my once lovely village of Old Harlow watching the tide of foreigners come ever closer as we are subsumed into the new town. Several outriders are already here. My little street of 10 dwellings has its first non-white family - Muslim - who don’t want to be part of our little community and keep their curtains closed all the time presumably in case they get contaminated by our non-Muslim ways. I took in a parcel for them recently and they have never come to collect it. I took it over to them when I knew they were in but they didn’t even open the door though we were told they spoke English by the people who have rented them the house. I have always smiled and said Hello if we are on the street at the same time and the woman will nod but that’s about it. Lovely.

I sympathise with you completely. I live and work in the centre of the UK’s 6th largest city. I don’t drive. It costs £15 a day to park outside my home and £6 a day to park at work. So, I commute on foot. 30 minutes each way. I walk through the city’s main shopping centre. Doorways crammed with young men sporting various skin tones, speaking in foreign tongues and being menacing to adolescent white girls and actively aggressive to white men. Not 5 minutes from where I live is a 4 star hotel, filled to the brim with Afghan refugees whose children constantly steel, unchallenged from the local shops, resulting in the closure of a couple of them. Meanwhile, the police concentrate their time and efforts harassing our native, white, homeless. Constantly moving them on. They have no 4 star hotel to call home. So, when a car is necessary, I call a cab. Invariably the driver is of foreign ethnicity. Has a very poor grasp of the English language and spends the entire journey on his mobile, speaking in his native tongue. No, I don’t think it to be xenophobic to be comfortable hearing your neighbours, conversing in the sane tongue as you. Immediately outside my front gate is a bus shelter equipped with benches. One morning I came hiome from work to be greeted by a group of teenage Asians sat on my front wall. As I came out of my home, to take my dog for a walk, they were still there. 1 of them asked me “do you mind us sitting on your wall”? I pointed out that it was private property and there was adequate seating facilities in the bus shelter. Their response:- “less of the racist comments”. So, No, the city that I’ve spent most of my life in, so far! Which I’ve grown to love. No longer feels like home, or, a place I want to be and no, I can’t see any way in which this city, or country has been enriched by this trend.

It was a nice Country area that was still within easy access of London especially via the Central Line. Next to it was Loughton, again a nice middle class English area surrounded by Epping Forest. Over the last few years it has been culturally enriched and is now a crime ridden, dirty dump and continues to decline. There has also been an increase in the amount of dumping of household and building rubbish in the surrounding Countryside. The once very clean streets are also littered profusely. It is not just a simple coincidence that links the rise in foreigners to the utter trashing of what once a beautiful area. It is a direct causal link !
