It is not the size of house that matters, but the load in the house. This setup is not for AC but bulbs, fan and TV

This is a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePo) battery pack. It has many batteries inside connected in series-parallel configuration, and inverter chargers. This is very common here in Kenya in Off grid connections. There is nothing difficult here. Anyone who has an electrician diploma or certificate can do its wiring. For the above video, the hotel has energy saving bulbs, Probably LEDs, Phone charging sockets. The AC is probably connected to a few rooms.

You keep dissing the Generators and Transformers. Oya power all the ACs in the 32 Rooms with your 17.5KwH battery and 10KVa inverter na. Why you put only 3? 🙂 Do you know how many thousands of Kilowatts are consumed daily either through Grid Power or Heavy Duty Generators ? The inverter setup to do that will make the Transformer and Generator Prices a Joke. And for your info, 70% of the Daily Power consumption of that Hotel are the Air Conditioners. That's a necessity before most customers pay for a Hotel room anyways. So, the inverter is good, but certainly still needs major help from the Generators

@@GTdontDOthat Almost all the info is wrong,you can list the size of an apartment as and estimate of power or duration of the power supply,the whole of sheraton if not a single bulb or electrical item is on will consume 0kw a year while a container with bitcoin miners can consume 10 kw a day..A lot of the info there are just upside down.

I can only accept this, if is carrying critical load during off grid with energy saving bulb in the 32 rooms❤. Try on any heavy appliances if they will not call u back.

What guys don't understand is if the rain keeps failing every day like the 1 week, the sun is nearly out and less charge is stored, we have to make use of Nepa to charge. Nepa even charges the batteries faster than the sun

This is an hybrid inverter but, they don't use it that way..... This one can light up the hotel energy saving bulbs and some small loads.... Battery determine the backup time. That battery can last on bulb only and few load. Average house uses about 50kw of power per day not to talk of an hotel..... If you know about inverter, you know.... The cost of that inverter pass those generator

It is apparent most installers don't really understand the basic numbers when it comes to renewable energy. If conservatively, all rooms uses a 5 units of 5watts bulbs, 40 inches tv, tge table top refrigerator, the hotel's low voltage equipments, etc. Your run time on that battery alone might not exceed 2 hours. This battery DOD of discharge is at 80%.

Don’t mind the Olodo. He said 17.5KWH is equivalent to 15 220ah tubular batteries. 4 batteries is 10KWH. 8 is 20KWH. The DOD of the lithium battery IS 98% compare to tubulars. Which is at most 50 to 70% DOD

@@Swit-Electalthough he isn’t accurate but he isn’t wrong either, people often forget tubular batteries has a usable capacity of 50% Which means 15 12v 220amps is likely 19kw... and that’s without factoring the mixture of parallel and series connection to get a 48v architecture ....

One of the generators can power the whole hotels both the ACS but the solar can not power quarter of the ACS. Just the play

1 water heater pull 2000 to 3000 watts of power , so imagine 3000watts x 34 rooms 102kw of power and u have 17kw. This can last 1hour if you give this hotel full load, imagine, tv , fan at max , at night it wont last ...at all

The entire installation is a 20Kva with 17.5Kwh Lithium Backup, you can not run more than 5 Air-conditioner on this entire system. My concerns lie more with how many Good weather / sun hours Benin has in a year.

Good! If 8 tubular is approximately equal to this one 17kw lithium.. lithium is always times 2 efficient that it's equivalent tubular battery because of the DEPT OF DISCHARGE

Have you heard of 100 ah tubular battery too? And have you heard of discharge efficiency? 98% discharge efficiency is not same as 50% to 60% discharge efficiency. So he is not far from being correct. Each 200ah tubular battery is 2.6kwh, but you can only extract 1.3kwh to 1.56kwh from it. And if you want it to have a longer lifespan you should avoid full discharge. With expert standard suggestion of 50% discharge you are left to use 0.65kwh to 0.78kwh. You can use the full 1.56kwh if you don’t mind. For LiFePo of 17kwh you can have up to 98% extraction, which give you 16.7kwh So for the most efficient ones (60% eff.) tubular in full usage is 11*200 ah = 17.16 kwh Tubular in Lifespan mindful usage(50% cap) 21*200 ah = 16.4 kwh I have a 1.2kwh LiFePo and have don reallife test using my friends 2*200ah tubular battery which is 4.8kwh. My friend had to change his tubular battery after it became very weak in 2 years. Also he does maintenance check every 6 months, while I haven’t done any. Lifepo4 only drops by 80% in about 4 years. Another benefit I discovered was that LiFePo battery also charges faster, even when sun shine is weak like this time that we are having rainy season.

Why would the battery be in operation during the day when the sun is at its fullest energy? The battery should be charging and automatically goes off if full. During the day, power should be from the solar to inverter and to appliances. At night it should be from Battery to Inverter and appliances.

One 17.5kwhr battery can't give you 15 tubular battery.. Mathematically one tubular battery is 2.64kwhr(12*220) multiplied by 8 that's about 21kwhr.. The advantage lipo battery has is better BMS, ease of maintenance, life span so one 17.5kwhr can never be up to 15 12v 220ah

Generators are good choice for hotels not solar Due to AC and heaters and other heavy recessive loads. Cost of solar will be too much to buy a good generator or two generators

Solar is the way but your 20kva is not enough,I did something like this for my client but with 2pcs of 17kw lithium battery, that's for a person house o,how much more of this with only 1pcs of 17kw battery for hotel of 32rooms

wetin u dey talk.i get 18 units of 600watt half cut panel with 12 unit of 230ah battery.my solar dey work well with 3 inverter ac.2 fridge.4 big tv.micro wave.washing machine.pumping machine and many more .my solar dey generate 4000watt wen weather bad and almost 10000watt wen sun dey.spend good money on solar and enjoy but not for hotel bcos d rooms many but can power few load wen sun dey

Ordinary 17.5KWH battery, this boy de lie sha. I use 2 x 17.5 and 30 550 panels for 4 beds duplex and I cannot on all the AC's. You guys should take this video down.

Lol. Ignorance is a bad thing. I have 15kW panels paired with 54 kWh of batteries. This system is nothing, and keep in mind it's all about load. No way this is running ACs. Probably just lights and fans.

Is better for me to buy a 350kva soundproof than this solar system,350kva can power all the 32rooms and everything.

as a solar installer, this is complete deceitful. First off, low customer patronage is causing load consumption to be minimum. Technically, if each room consumes just 200W, and all rooms consume that, power consumption= 6400w. then how long will that battery last? Also, the controller looks like an 80W controller which means max. solar power is about 3840W. what he is saying is incoherent.

220AH tabular battery = 2.64 KWH x 7 = 18.48 KWH. Do the math and compare it to what he is saying. No one is doubting the quality of lithium ion battery but say 17.5 KWh is equivalent to 15 tabular batteries is a big lie

This Man is LYING I SWEAR, this Lithium Phosphate has the power of only 7 tubular batteries, The Inverters on the wall are 10KVA inverters, how can 20KVA be enough for at least 38 pieces of 1HP ACs? miserable liars. and how can these small breakers and changeover be enough for 38 hotel rooms? fear God my brother.

I am an electrical engineer from Cameroon system of 500-watt of 14 solar panels can supply: -Total DC Power = 7000 watts - Total AC Power = 6300 watts (considering 90% inverter efficiency) -Daily Energy Production = 25.2 kWh to 37.8 kWh (depending on 4 to 6 peak sunlight hours) They can support a continuous AC load of up to 6300 watts under optimal conditions. I think you should be talking more about power consumption in DC using LED lights bulbs of between 5w to 15w each. your system cannot support More than 4 air-conditioners of 1.5Kw each.
