How a Man Made River Wave Forms

This man made River Wave emulates those found in nature. Only certain types of river rapids are surfable and this machine has perfected the hydrodynamics needed. Lake Chelan is home to the 2nd largest City Wave technology in the world. The competition that was held there this year brought international talents from Europe to compete against U.S. riders. The skills that all the different riders brought to the table made for an extra entertaining event to watch especially when it came down to the best trick contest. Every rider was going huge and attempting every trick they had.

City Wave is awesome! I spent a week there last year. So fun! I went to college in Washington, and I sure wish City Wave was there when I went to school.

They have one along the boardwalk at Mission Beach, San Diego. I’m drawing a blank on the name of the bar that it’s actually located at.. maybe somebody can fill in the blank; but I/we all used to have a -fucking- *BLAST* out there on that thing. I mean it was _obviously_ a little smaller than this one, this one is pretty damn huge! 😱 I’d love to tear through this one!!
