Due to a lack of traceable historical evidence, there has been some skepticism on the authenticity of Creed's historical background. As shown by collectors and historians, no Creed perfume existing before 1975 has been found

@@messagedeleted3526 no, creed was only ever known for tailoring way back in the day then clothing and other things. their history was never fragrances.

Somehow it should be illegal to spread fake marketing arguments. In France they can be taken to court for as we call it « Lying Ads »

@@rippedup4546 The question is: Who SELLS fragrances by the history of the fragrances? ;) It's about the same reason that the Air Jordan that was used by Michael Jordan is thousand fold the price of a Air Jordan ;) People who pay more for Creed wants to brags the storytelling that they use the fragrance of the royalty

For the price they charge they still use the cheapest cap I’ve ever seen.

3 years in making what ? A slight floral version of Aventus ? The most overpriced fragrance in the market. What bunch of empty marketing words
She knew the perfume was exquisite before the sprayer completly disperesed the juice on her skin. Oh the power of marketing.
I love collecting Creed fragrances. Mingling within the Aventus Lounge is really fun, discussing different batch variations, note depth, and longevity. They're expensive, so buying decants is a good option, and one many dabble in.

Hahaha, the BS marketing spew they have. Blatant BS. Creed started in England, not France. And they started with making leather products. There is no proof that can be found online of them having made any fragrances (as in.. actual fragrances in liquid form to be applied to skin) prior to ~1970. Sure, they make some good stuff. But don't believe the marketing, it's a lie. :)
@luiscavallo9314

The reason that Creed Scents are rare and difficult to find pre-1970’s is because Creed made fragrances BESPOKE. They did not make fragrances to the public. This is why when Creed release one of the old VAULTED Private Scents, its a huge deal!!

Netrammac Mac they're really not at the top, besides aventus everything else they have doesn't sell all that much. They created the story to try and give their brand credibility when they first started and now that they're established they can't really go back and say they made that stuff up.
