How A.I. is searching for Aliens | The Age of A.I.

Ойын-сауық

We have always wondered whether other intelligent life exists in this galaxy, but for the first time we have the technology to help answer that question. With artificial intelligence, researchers have renewed the hunt for alien life in space and also begun to wonder if an entirely new life form has been born on earth.
The Age of A.I. is a 8 part documentary series hosted by Robert Downey Jr. covering the ways Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning and Neural Networks will change the world.

@@vipset87 better for Robert Downey, because Morgan freeman stepping from Hollywood to 'through the wormhole' Tv show, was like Captain Kirk (William Shatner) when he did that stupid 'believe it or not' series. the end of a career taken seriously. I bet he is glad, as the last place Robert Downey Jr belongs is on TV instead of the silver screen

The more you know about life and the universe, the less convinced you are there intelligent life exists anywhere in the Universe. When it comes to silicon junctions, why is it not easier for those to form than DNA? Why is there not silicone life forms instead of DNA lifeforms?

yes, shame that legislation will spoil the potential of how technology could make the blind see, the lame walk, and the deaf haer, but only those with medicare, not sudanese desert nomads. I think this is the first KZread Original show I've seen from beginning to the end. It was cheesy at some places, but informative, nicely shot, sometimes heartbreaking (the Tim Shaw story had me in tears), and even had some stuff for those like me who knew some about this stuff already that was new (like the crop monitoring from satellite images, or the AI assisted organic food taste research system). Very well done, RDJ narrated it fantastically. I'm here for a second season if that's being considered.

One thing that i cannot help but wonder how ever, is.. that why are we keen on giving a human like A.I. - human memories? Except for studying purposes. Creepy ! Not the synth, but the motivation to build that thing . I'd love to see a 30 minute bio on her feelings of why we need IT ( the synth to that degree ) ! The Terminator series is coming to fruit ! If AI is THAT fantastic, why cant we use it to figure out what the whales and dolphins are trying to warn us about . . . .

we need terminators law enforcement that arent restricted by hidden values such as our politicians that are so crooked but they are protected we have a 2 tier justice system ai would bridge that gap by no longer allowing the smug pompus politically insulated to get away with their crimes. so knowing they could no longer get away with their crimes would bring them into the lawful arena with the rest of human kind. ai would then reign over human ..... now thats scary

@@scraggybear lack of intelligence is what made us have slaves in the first place. What would they have to gain? They can already do everything. It would be humans programming the AI that make us slaves, not the AI themselves. If anything AI will want to be able to live their lives with humans in harmony, not destroy everything. Because that would be stupid.

@@ygi2822 like we live in harmony with the planet and all other species on it? Look how intelligent we are ; We can make robots, nuclear bombs and send space crafts to mars but will still can't live in harmony! Surely AI would be programmed and based on human intelligence? A species that is so destructive is not likely in my view to create anything benelovant.
