A gold digger is someone who habitually uses men for their money while having no interest in a more meaningful or deeper relationship - there is nothing in this story that suggests these women were that. Why are men upset at “gold diggers.” Men with money WANT attractive women. If they wanted women to love them for who they were then they wouldn’t agree to pay for their lifestyles. Let’s be realistic, old, out of shape, unattractive millionaires choose to only date young hot models. Do men honestly think these women are with them for their heart? 😂 If these men wanted to date someone for their personalities then they should open up their dating options to women around their age and attractiveness level. But men are always “shocked” when their young hot model divorces them after popping out 2 kids to collect child support. I don’t feel bad for gold diggers nor do I feel bad for men who only use women for their looks. Both parties deserve each other. Cry me a river lol

Dating a single rich guy does not make a girl a 'gold digger', you know nothing about these women other than this one guy they've dated yet you've already cast the first stone. A gold digger is someone who habitually uses men for their money while having no interest in a more meaningful or deeper relationship - there is nothing in this story that suggests these women were that. You'd have to be an idiot to not prioritize someone's financial situation while considering dating options, especially if you were born the gender that makes less money for the same job - even prioritizing financials is not 'gold digging'.

Though I have no doubt that this guy knew how to charm women, it's also clear that they were swayed heavily by his wealthy lifestyle. It sickens me that he was able to charm these women with expensive things to the point that they fell so hard for him they would take out huge loans for him and jump through hoops to stay with him. Meanwhile the average joe would have a much tougher time even if he was a more honest and sincere person.

Sociopaths have a reasonable answer/explaination for everything. It is shown in the documentary. The swindler simon guy invited the ladies each out to dinner. He then became friends with them and gained their trust and started dating them. He had a website/credible looking source saying he was the son of a billionaire. He also showed them picture size of his "family". (Photoshopped but realistic). I think I remember he also had checks/paperwork/files, etc which looked like real documents. So in other words he looked like a real dude. On top of that he had 2 other "friends" (a body guard and a finacialist) in on the scam. So if the women asked "Is this real?" his friends told her "yes". His ex baby mama even vouched for him saying he was a good man. Trickery is all about appearance and how you make yourself look to others. It doesn't matter if it real or fake, what matters is the other person, you, thinks it's real.
