Intel HQ is in the capital Abbotabad was near the Military academy that trains cadets, plus later revealed facts by retired Generals have stated that the Pakistan military knew beforehand of this operation, something compelled (promise of ending the war, money or maybe threats) them to give the go ahead and they acted oblivious to avoid public outcry.

Hugh O'Flaherty hid Jews in the building adjacent to the Gestapo headquarters for a long time. It's definitely possible.
I think the description and importance of the city of Abbotobad is more than a bit understated. It is the home of two military institutes (like West Point). It isn’t just a random town. It is not unreasonable to think the isi knew of Bin Laden’s presence long before the raid. In fact, it’s pretty unlikely they didn’t know he was there.

@Todd how could they not know ? He was living there peacefully for quite some time & it's barely 2 hours drive from military headquarters, there are military training institutes there & a number of important army people live there. Fact is they knew it very well & they hid him purposefully to use him as a bargaining chip to get some more money & weapons from the USA. They made a fool of the USA & I don't think the USA minds it. They have plenty of money to throw at Pakistan & Pakistan loves free money 💰. If they get another chance, they will repeat it all over again, supporting & harbouring terrorists is part of their state policy, it's an undeniable fact. USA still provides 100s of millions of dollars worth of military hardware to Pakistan for fighting terrorism inside their country, I can bet you a gazillion dollars that this fight will go on forever because they are just pretending to do it for money. They will take money from you, they will take money from China, Saudi & from anyone who can spare a few million dollars - it's the best way to survive 😅

Not entirely true, the helicopter crashed basically because of a planning error. They tried to land in the compound and the walled area took the lift from the blades. They probably knew it was a risk but had to do it anyway.
just how do you make a video like that with the images n stuff. Thing is amazing!!
This kind of thing really points out how important individual personalities can be in our world. If you research news paper articles in India 2008-09. Indian intelligence detected osama in military hospital getting treatment in Abbottbad but then US discredited the report without investigation and later he was found in the same area under military protection. The day he was treated in pakistani military hospital, the hospital was cleared of staff, and opd was closed for three days. He had gotten surgery done and spent 2 days in recovery.
I remember reading that the "hazardous airflow conditions" that grounded the first chopper were in fact caused by the helicopter downdraft deflecting back off the walls of the compound. This was not anticipated due to use of chain link fence instead of actual walls for sections of the compound training mockup.

Leader of seal team 6 KIA 100 Days after the bin laden raid It felt like a kick in the gut. RIP Louis....
I thank you for conveying the methods used in tracking down the mass murderer ObL. One key clue that should be reminded to all helicopter trainees, is that the training facilities for simulating the Abbottabad compound was to use chain link fences to simulate the 12-18 foot cinderblock walls. In this scenario, helicopter downdraft, which allows the lift to the chopper can dissipate the air-blast, while the actual compound's cinderblock reflected the downdraft-upwards, counteracting the lift capabilities of the descending aircraft, causing it to crash land, brilliantly controlled by the pilot realizing his aerodynamic error too late. No casualties happened in his crash landing, which was miraculous, and an engineering warning to all future helicopter pilots against trying to land inside a walled enclosure! Remarkable job for the Seals, for the pilots, for the President Barack Obama and his Cabinet teams, and certainly McRaven, in charge of Seal 6, nerves of steel!

@@ericme5715 I think he's speaking about the French who got offended by the Russian cartoons probably meanwhile they supported the teacher who made cartoons about our prophet. could be about how the west supports the jewish religious fundamentalists murdering people in Palestine for the mere sake of existing there. There is an endless number of interpretations honestly, one of them might be about the Muslims and I did reply to that if that's the case.
The fact that Obama didn’t give Bin Laden the Mussolini treatment should be alarming yet no one ever brought that up
I heard a very interesting news from India that The Pakistani Army General Kayani took $50 Million from USA and disclosed the location of bin Laden . This General moved to Australia and bought an Island there.
This seems like the plot of a Mission: Impossible sequel.

Once Pakistan Prime Minister addressed Osama Bin Laden as Martyred. It's not out of a mistake but it's his and many others general statement coming out from their minds in Pakistan. Many consider him as Martyred in Pakistan.
This is a really good channel I enjoy the content very much
Lacking the ability to handle his emotions and to practice self restraint was how his emotions overruled him. He succumbed to his rage. There's a difference between partaking in predatory behaviors and applying self defense. It's obvious he couldn't discern the difference.

Sometimes these guys make mistakes on the simplest of things. When he told that the seal team on this raid had their command transferred to the cia for the duration of the mission, that was correct and all good. I would heavily advise to actually look into the 80s Afghan time frame, the Americans came in to "help" the Afghan people during their civil war, where in which the Taliban won the civil war, but was also to push back the Russians who were coming in from northern area to take oil, by the end of it, America just left the Taliban and took and used their oil fields anyway from the Afghan. The literally trained and worked with Osama bin Ladden back then. they taught him so much information, hence why he knew so much. On top of that, not saying it is justified, but the way the American military and government treated the Afghans back then, you can see why they pushed a breaking point in which Al-Quaeda grew out of it and formed an incredible hatred towards the US. I would look and read heavily into the involvement of the US military in that time frame etc. like the Afghans didn't ask the US to help, they just decided to come over, and within that confine of the civil war there, the Taliban grew out of it, and they pretty much used them for their oil to pump it straight back to the US

It should be noted that how it was setup meant that the US couldn't actually control who gets what, and given that the Taliban and Pakistan were besties... yeah. That's why Afghanistan ended the way it did, because it had the support of a nuclear power at its back, making their powerbase _untouchable_ in the grand scheme of things. Also, it must be noted that the original leader of the anti-Soviet rebellion was forced out by the Taliban and other factions, leading the man's eventual death despite creating an anti-Taliban faction in the Northern Alliance.
