How a few simple habits cured my solo travel anxiety for good | Mexico diaries
I was a bit intimidated to travel to Mexico City which happened to be the largest city in North America. So many people (9M), voices and noise, and places to see. I won't lie, I thought for months if I should go there alone at all because traveling alone to a place like that has to come with mental preparation and habits that I can rely on to relieve my travel anxiety. I made it! I'm in Mexico City and I couldn't be happier that I chose to go despite all the concerns.

Mexico City not safe?! Safer than New York City for example!

Sometimes we get anxious because of the stories we tell ourselves that have nothing to do with reality. I felt safe in Mexico City when I experienced the city properly.
