As a 85cc Rider when I was in 65cc class my dad would just tell me to be patient and not start the bike yet because it’s almost a domino affect cause once one person starts their bike everybody does

How well does it climb? Can it climb the mile long welcome to anaerobic hell steep hills without much hardship? Does it feel sketchy at speed? Ive been thinking about tossing a 49cc engine onto a bike for cheap commuting to work.

@@thenthson don't buy the 49cc, I had it, it's slow and weak, go for the 66cc (80cc).It can't really climb step hills for more than 1-2 minutes without overheating, I bought a aluminium cnc head, and now it climbs like a charm without overheating. Long extremly step hills need pedal assist. At 47km/h+ it vibrates like hell, but I like the andrenaline. The 49cc can't even reach 40kmh on flat, and can't really climb any kind of hill without pedal assist and acceleration before the hill

@@darkraft100 its that anything with more displacemnt has to be registered and titled as a motorcycle which would defeat the whole purpose. I could get a higher displacement gear it down to 30mph and say it's 49.9cc. Even if it can't climb all that well a majority of the times it will be dealing with 4 percent or less with pedaling.

Do what you think it's better, I don't know if it's legal here where I live, I don't have a license, but I hardly go on roads, most of the time offroading.I said you the performance dif, now you can pick what you think it's best for you (btw, police can't really tell if it's a 49 or a 66, unless they disansamble the engine, which is also illegal for them to do 😉

the best I have been through was at a training and so our groups are set up so we have 125cc and up in one class and 85 / 65cc in the other group, once when we trained starts with them and i think i saw at least 3 people loop and me and my friends were laughing so much we couldnt breath
