    I love how they came together as a community to worship and fellowship with one another. That's what's missing in the US right now. I hope they were able to reach their goal. God bless them! ❤❤❤

    That's one thing I think a lot of people who want to migrate to the United States don't realize... in most places there's no sense of community whatsoever.

    Wouldn’t the plastic bags holding the tamales in the metal barrels melt when the fire is lit under them?

  • @igiveupfine

    @igiveupfine

    Жыл бұрын

    you've heard of the trick where you can put a closed water bottle in a fire and the bottle wont melt, right? because the water inside can't get above the boiling point? the pressure helps keep it below 212F. i'm guessing something about the evaporating water, the steam, helps keep the bag around that temp.

    the tamale you mean. that is so the corn paste with the bean paste in the center, the masa, steams and becomes cooked. at home it's just steamed in a pot with a lid.

    What a beautiful society. I love all races but I see no benefit to mixing them all together. Look at America with all of its hate and violence on every side along with mental illness. We need to be with those with the same heritage where a name means something.
