I had the privilege of working with the HPR guys a few years ago organizing a private event at Meremere and Hampton Downs. That was a really good experience gone horribly real fast, I fell ill 3 days before the event and couldn't even attend, then they never got paid for the work they did and everyone that worked for the company got fired after the owner received more than $50k in funding for it. Myself and others copped the blame for it and I don't think HPR ever got paid out for it. They were owed $12k or something, and they deserved every cent or more.

@@misfirerotary it was fucked man, I got told specifically not to organize fire crew and such at Hampton Downs, when the team got there on the day they asked where our fire crew was. Mike Whiddett ended up acting as fire crew that day when he shouldn't have, but I guess that's testament to the kind of guy he is. All in all, the business owner owed out around $75k-$100k and no one saw a dime, not even the First Aid team. He ruined my name in the car media scene too, I came in as a video editor and ended up being an event organizer and business manager when I had zero training/expertise there.

Once had a cop chase me on Great South Road Papatoetoe near the old DB Breweries. By the time I saw his blue n reds I was already passing the old starlight movie theatre Cop said he couldnt clock my speed on radar but said I was in excess of 160. I had just changed down !!!
