    "First we have to remove the paint, because we want new paint. It's important to remove the paint to get new paint for good look. The old paint is acrylic, we have to remove it and repaint the shoe. The old paint has to get scratched off before applying new paint. To remove the paint we scratch it off, because it's old - we want new paint. We want to repaint the shoe, so we have to remove old paint. ..."

    @@jsilva7005 cuz some parts will be more bolder than other parts plus he said in the video that the old paint will start to chip off so if u already chip the whole thing off and repaint it then it wouldn't chip off

    i literally did this 2 months ago on my old nike shoes. Spend around 20€ for paint, brushes and tape... They looking brand new now

    I don’t think they “made it seem” more complex than it was. Pretty much most services are things people could technically do themselves, but prefer to pay someone else to do them. For instance, I own a lawn mower and could cut my own grass. But because I hate the summer heat and value my time, I hire someone to cut it for me. This logic is not something that is difficult to understand.

    I wear all of my shoes but people REALLY put the beats down. Edit: my military 4s are from the same year and I only had to correct the yellowing of the rubber.

    "I chose not to tape off the upper of the shoe cuz it's delicate material and I don't wanna get paint on it so I'd rather trust my eye than the tape to stop the paint " cuz your eye is way more accurate than the tape at stopping paint right bud?

    Just goes to show how absolutely dumb people are that they will pay that much money for a stupid athletic shoe and we've sunk so low that instead of repairing and renovating beautifully made shoes we waste time on this. This does not bode well for the future of humans.

    Ok then. I absolutely destroy shoes. Went to HS in the early 90s so we were ankle deep in the shoes are the big thing in fashion right now phase. $100+ high tops hold the laces.
